Hanxi carried Matteo straight to the room, but came back down to speak to Isabella's parents while she stayed behind. She still had to change Matteo in his sleeping clothes. 

Stefano and Vittoria Ricci had earlier waited for the two to arrive. Hanxi told them he would stay for a month in Italy, and it pleased Isabella's parents. Their daughter had been wanting to go to Ireland with Hanxi, and they figured they could all go together with Salvatore's family. 

"You must be tired. I heard you ended up extending your stay in France, supporting your brother with the business?" Stefano reconfirmed.

"Yes, sir. It's a long story, but that is exactly what happened," Hanxi replied. 

They were all seated in the living room, catching up with Hanxi before resting for the night.
