Six Years Passed. 

In preparation for Brie and Chevre's 18th birthday, the entire Lu family were staying at the newly built Marriot Hotel and Resort. Their party would be held at the property's banquet ballroom. 

Staying at a shared room between her, Angela and Alexis, Brie lazily got up to the sound of her phone ringing. When she saw who it was calling, slowly answered, "Ty? " 

"Happy Birthday, Brie. I hope I was the first to greet you," said Tyler on the other line. It was already six in the morning when he called. 

Brie smiled pleasantly before turning to the other side of the bed, "My family beat you to it, but your greeting is equally gratifying. We all stayed up until midnight. Mom insisted on singing us a happy birthday before we went to sleep."
