"Uhm...Jacob hold on," Abigail catched up with Jacob and Gia. "You are probably still mad at me but can we talk?"
Jacob had no stomach to digest any hard truth Abigail had for him. He crossed his arms and upped his guards before turning around to face her.
Gia frowned, her plans to keep Abigail away from Jacob so she could swoop in and win him over were foiled by Abigail's presence. Her celebratory smile fell, hard.
"If you're going to ask me to apologize to Travis then don't bother. You shouldn't hold your breath on the possibility of me saying sorry to him," Jacob mimicked his sister's icy tone as he spoke. "I'm leaving."
Abigail grasped the hem of his shirt and stopped him from leaving. She hesitantly held her stance, scared she might not see him again if he leaves.
