"I, " Before she could continue, a maid rushed in.

"Young Master, Little master is back and he is, "

He cut her off with a halt gesture.

With a bow, the maid left the place.

They both rushed down only to notice a disaster.

The whole hall was in a mess. And on the couch was a little guy in a hoarse state.

Hearing the footsteps, he glared up and soon blinked seeing Mia.

Turning his head around, he crossed his little arms.

"What's wrong?" Ian looked at Kiara and Charlotte.

Noah was still in disbelief seeing his sister-in-law, oops future sister-in-law pinched his hand.

"Ouch."

Lil Kai glared at him.

"Noah left him alone in Margaret Mansion. All-day long, So" Kiara shrugged her shoulders.

"What? Wasn't it you who asked me to take him there?" Noah retorted.

Smacking his hand, Charlotte glared,

"We mentioned bringing back before noon."

"How would I? That old man loved him so much and asked me to let him stay there."

"STOP." The Lil guy stood on the couch and yelled.

"He never liked that family." Ian sighed.

"Baby, please calm down. I even prepared your favourite cupcakes." Kiara walked towards him only to be stopped with his glare.

"Awww, he is so cute." Mia's sudden voice surprised everyone.

"Baby, Can I squish your cheeks?" Everyone was dumbfounded.

"What is she doing?" Noah whispered only to receive a glare from Charlotte.

She rushed towards the guy and pinched his cheeks.

"You are so handsome." Lil Kai blinked in surprise.

"Ohh, yes my name is Mia Brown." She held her hand out.

"Who?" Turning towards Charlotte, he questioned.

"Your new friend." Mia answered. Taking his small hand out, she held it and shook their hands and the Lil guy blinked in surprise.

"Is he your son?" She turned towards Kiara who smiled.

"Ahh, yes. Look at his eyes and hairs just like yours."

"Baby, do you by chance love cupcakes?"

The guy nodded.

"Same here. What about pancakes?"

The guy nodded vigorously.

"Omg, we are so much alike." Sitting beside him, she held his hand and continued.

The guy was just 3 years old so all his answers were short and sweet.

"How old you are?" Mia asked scooping the guy on her lap.

"3 half." Chuckling out loud at his answer, she continued their chat.

"Go and bring Lil Master's dinner." Kiara ordered a maid.

Taking the tray, Mia slowly started feeding the guy. He was already immersed in their chat and all his anger vanished in the air.

The guy was tired that he slept in her embrace. Patting his head, Mia smiled.

"You are so good with kids," Charlotte whispered.

"I love kids and I took care of Xuan when he was young, so" She answered.

Patting her head, Charlotte kissed her Grandson's forehead and left the place.

Placing him on the bed, Mia kissed his forehead and smiled.

"Thank you. If not you, " Kiara sighed.

Mia nodded and they both walked out.

"Where is your husband?" Mia asked.

Kiara expression changed a bit, faking a smile she answered,

"He is on a business tour."

With that she excused herself.

Something was strange but Mia couldn't understand it.

Shaking away her thoughts, she walked towards Felix's room.

Later that night.

"Darling it's quite late. You should sleep. I will accompany him." Charlotte looked at Mia.

They have talked a lot and Charlotte didn't know how time flew.

"Let me show your room." Ian entered the room.

Hugging her, Charlotte said,

"It's just been a day and I already feel so connected with you. Thank you, darling."

"Same here aunty. I am really happy I met you all."

Mia frowned seeing the glass roof.

"It's just a coincidence. The open roof contrasted the front side of the palace so, " She cut him off with a nod.

Closing the door on his departure, she sighed.

She talked with her dada and brother. Once done, she chatted with her small gang and then video called Elisa.

"Arghh, it's around 1." Elisa yelled.

"Huh, why are you asleep so fast?" Mia questioned.

"Work. Many cases are complicated and my mind was bursting out."

Looking at her pathetic friend, Mia sighed.

"Ok, will call you tomorrow. Good night."

She stared the dark sky through the glass roof. Life was really a mixture of emotions. Just one day and she walked through all doors, Anger, frustration, grief, joy and jealous. Meeting him again was pleasant yet an oblivious feeling for her heart to deal with.

Ensuring Felix that she would keep it as a secret, Mia felt for her first day of internship.

"She is really a cute girl." Felix commented having his tablets.

Charlotte nodded with a smile.

"I am doubting those rumours. How could such a sweet girl be a hooligan?" Kiara mumbled helping Felix to get up.

"Hahaha, she has that Steven's genes. Of course, she is ruthless to the outside world."

"You mean dad?"

"Dear, Is my way of interaction with family and others is similar?"

"No. You are like a demon to the outside world."

"Haha and just like me, she is a ruthless ruler in the underground world. If not her obsession for being a doctor, Arthur would sure have ditched his own sons for his throne."

Later that evening.

Mia was happy the way her day ended. She enjoyed a lot working as a doctor and with Noami's company, her day just got brighter.

"Let's head to a club." She mumbled in excitement.

Taking her mask out, she covered her face and wore her big shades.

She parked the car and walked inside the club.

The only reason she visited clubs was to protect innocent ladies and beat the shit out of guys. Of course, it was a part of her routine training to improve her skills

From last one month, the city playboys and gangsters have always been careful when it came to women and clubs.

Sipping her wine, she glanced the whole club.

'How boring.' She mumbled but her keen eyes zoomed to a particular figure in the room.

"Shit Shit. What is he doing here?"

Adjusting her mask, she looked at his silhouette and frowned deeper.
