Chapter 5.95 : Cyborg vs Necromancer!
"Hmm, hmm, hm, hmm." A humming sound resounded in the 29sq feet well decorated apartment.
I was relaxing a bit on the floor with comfortable and soft cushions.

Turning the hero association rule book, I looked for loopholes to pass the time. After all, there wasn't any monster which required me to deal with under my range.
Neither did the association contacted me about it.
After 15 minutes of revising the rules, I sensed a presence outside.

Yesterday, I had asked Ether-San for an appointment to spar. Which to my surprise, he agreed to. Although, I do know that I am not his match, but, in the previous spar, there was Saitama Sensei as well, thus I had two opponents to focus on.
Result, I lost. And, I was unable to collect efficient data on Ether-San, thus, this spar will be mainly to get as much information I can about his strength.
While thinking this, I was about to knock on the door, but, the door opened. I saw Ether-San standing while keeping the door open.
"Let's get going, Genos. " He said, and a large shadow covered us both, before I knew it, we were in a desolated area.
It was an unexplainable act, no matter how many times I replayed the footage, I was unable to get a reasonable explanation of this teleportation.
"Alright Genos, at the count of 3, the spar will officially begin, anything to say before that? "
"No, let's start right away. " I replied.
I knew having these thoughts right now are useless, and it will reduce my focus on the main goal.
So, putting all of it aside, I took a deep breath. I had doctor kuseno modify my body a bit, hopefully, I can get extra data with this.

Kicking of the ground I dodged the incinerator beam sent by Genos.
This time it... Was in white? Shouldn't it be orange?
Extending my palm towards him, I grasped the air. (Ruler's Authority Ofcourse.)

Grabbing it, and pulling it in my direction, I could momentarily fly. Getting near Genos, I made a fist, before I hit him, he bend backwards, thus my hit met with air, and my arm carrying the momentum was above his bended body, to be exact above his chest with some distance.
*Crackle*
...It was glowing, in white. Instinctively, I kicked him towards the mountains with great force, he crashed through several times stopping only when I used {Ruler's Authority}.
Bringing him back to see whether he was unconscious yet-
"Incinerate."

'Did I get him?' , thinking like this, I scanned the position where he was...Huh?
'Where is he!? 'I couldn't find him no matter how many times I scanned-
"Wow, you were about to catch me off-guard again. Fortunately, I don't make the same mistakes twice. "

"I will be ending it here. It was fun while it lasted. "
*Crack*
My... Body is broken? No, my energy core is cracked!? I can't use any energy to attack now...
But, he surely gave me enough data. Thinking like this, I fell unconscious.

What the heck? Where did he get this from? I glanced again on the fragment of the weapon which was used in the attempt to kill me.
That incineration canon wasn't using normal energy, but rather this light one. My skin got burned a little, but with an elixir I was fine. Although, this thing is still dangerous.
Should I destroy it? How did it even get in his hands?...
Right. I am an idiot. When I killed that ruler, I forgot to erase the area... I am thinking there might be more of these fragments in others hands... Genos has one, then Kuseno should have some, then some passing by monster or a resident... A kid?
*Sigh*
Putting the thoughts aside, I used my inventory to store it. Why you ask? I wasn't an idiot in my past ruined life. I will research on this material, and my skill which can destroy it.
Using the research I will try to create something which can last for a long period of time, and can serve the exact purpose as my skill.
There are many possibilities after all. Once the skill duration ends, if someone else comes with the same thing and attacks me, I would be literally defenseless.
Then the only option would be to escape, instead of that, I would like to have a counter weapon with me in my inventory instead.
After all, there could be a situation where I have to wait for the cool down of { Shadow Exchange } as well or that I can't use { Shadow Exchange } at all.
Anyways, being cautious doesn't hurt. Although... I am surprised, as to how strong I have gotten... Genos attacks are like in slow motion to me, the only fast thing I could think of right now about Genos, was his decision making.
I didn't even use the skills I picked up in Bang's dojo. That makes me think, what about Bang's brother, I could learn his martial arts too, then there's the exploding something martial art which Bang used in his younger days.
Hmm.. Well, let's think about this later.

Getting on my ride while getting the unconscious Genos on my shoulders, we head towards our home.

I know the chapter is really short this time, but, I can't really see as to how Genos can fight Ether with his current self.
Ether is currently strong enough to do a nerfed version of 'Serious Table Flip', with that much strength, I can't exactly see him lasting long enough. And this was a filler chapter anyway.
By the way, drop powerstones, I still have the illness, it takes time to type in thoughts you know? At least motivate me...
