Scarlett's Deadly Marriage
She nods assuring him, "but a fair warning, you might not like what you are going to hear. Are you ready?"
She's right, just hearing that bastard's name makes his blood boil. But he really needs to know if there's some clue which can determine the fact that she's legally married or not.
Ezra thought for a while before answering her with a nod, "I am ready."
Scarlett nods at him before sitting straight up on the bed. She spaced out for a moment and then closed her eyes. Ezra had no idea what she was thinking but he somehow understood it's a difficult topic for her to speak about.
"I need to get the pizza, we should eat it while it's hot." Scarlett says just as she is getting down from the bed.
Ezra frowns, just a moment ago she was ready to tell him her past but now suddenly she wants to eat pizza?
"Scarlett?"
She turns to him, "come on if you want to have it."
