[Welcome back, child.]

Okami looked around and pouted. "This place sure is very bare. Can you add something that will make this place more comfortable to live, mysterious God? After all, I will be staying here for an indefinite amount of time."

[I can at least change it to how your room was built back on Earth.]

"Please do so."

At once, the white mists transformed into a quadrilateral room. The ceilings, walls, and floors were still white but the rest was just like the way Okami remembered it when he was still young. The brown bed was beside a large cabinet where his important things were usually stored. There was a big LED screen mounted between the two tables where his computer was placed, facing the bed.

"Looks like you copied my room perfectly." Okami approached the bed and sat down as he traced his hands on its covers. "Ah, still so soft! Thank you, mysterious God!"

[You're welcome, Child].

Okami lied down and stared at the ceiling even though his mind was elsewhere. After a few minutes, he asked, "Hey, mysterious God, can you let me go back to Konoha for a day? I forgot that there are things that I should have done before leaving."

[Like what?]

"I was only able to give Tomiro and Baki the XTransceivers but I forgot about the Pokedex."

[That could only take for a few minutes. And the moment you return to Konoha, the pokemon contaminated with the Vile One's powers will detect your presence and they will act berserk again.]

Okami felt dissatisfied when he heard mysterious God's reply. "Is there no other way where I can go back to Konoha without them finding out?"

[No. How about this? As long as we can eliminate the tendency of these pokemon becoming berserk even if they detect your presence, then we can let you return to Konoha and continue with the assessment?]

"Beggars can't be choosers. Please do that."

[Sure.]

Five months had passed and the incident about the pokemon assault became a thing of the past. But the result of the First Phase was coming into fruition, as many people started to accept the presence of pokemon. The most common wild ones that were seen roaming within the villages were Rattatas and Pidgeys. At first, they were afraid and hesitant to accept them but they were informed by several Genins, Chunins, and Jounins that the pokemon had their temperaments and they must not be treated harshly. A few civilians were attacked because they tried capturing it, thinking that Pidgeys were like the rest of the birds but they were only isolated cases. Most of them tried feeding them and some Pidgeys started being friendly with them. Soon, some successfully tamed them and even started having them as pets even though they were not Pokemon Trainers. Hiruzen's plan was effective and all the clans were appeased.

Beside the Intelligence Division headquarters, a new building was erected last month. Even though it was freshly built, it was one of the busiest departments inside the Academy's premise. Several ninjas were coming in and out of the establishment and some of them were even accompanied by pokemon. On its door, a big sign was written - Pokemon Intelligence Division.

Inside the office, Shikaku was reading some documents while listening to the report of his subordinate. He looked up when he heard him stopped talking and asked, "Is that all, Taeho-kun?"

Taeho Kushiki nodded. "I can still remember the first time I sparred against Okami and his Vulpix. I can definitely assure you that the String Shot's effect is much stronger than the first time I encountered it, Shikaku-sensei."

"Good!" Shikaku exclaimed and gave him a big grin. "You just became a Genin that time, right?"

Taeho blushed while he looked down. "Yes."

Shikaku laughed. "Well, Okami's very powerful so your defeat was kind of expected, anyway. Good job in successfully creating your own chakra-fused String Shot Jutsu."

"It's the least that I can do after you petitioned me to become a Pokemon Trainer, Shikaku-san. Thanks to you, I've found my partner, Cuter."

"Yeah, your Caterpie is definitely improving. Well, just be ready for your pokemon to evolve since bug pokemons are the fastest to level up."

"I'm excited for that time to arrive!"

Shikaku smiled. "Okay, you're dismissed."

Taeho nodded and left the office immediately.

Shikaku returned to his office works and started tabulating some data. He was still in the middle of his calculations when he heard the door creaking. He looked up and saw a few ninjas in flak jacket entering the room.

"Dashi, you're back. Is there any good news this time?"

Dashi Hyuga gave a slight nod as he gave a rolled parchment. "An Abra sighting was confirmed by one of our Intels."

Shikaku opened the parchment and started reading. He then set it on the table after finding out its content and asked, "At the Valley of the End? Who is there right now?"

"Team Zubat. Yamigi Yamanaka, their team leader, is currently providing us this information through the power of Sonar vision."

"Oh, so they're using the newly created Jutsu effectively? Abra's not reacting at all?"

"Yes, Leader. As we all know, Abra is very sensitive to any disturbances and will choose to teleport to escape as soon as it sense any danger. But this time, Abra is just sleeping."

Shikaku tapped his fingers on the table. "Tell them that they should take their time and keep spying on Abra. Anyway, have you taken our pokeball orders from the PokeMart?"

Dashi nodded. "Someone will get it at noon. You need it, Leader?"

"Yes. Bring five of them with us. It's time to get our own Abra inside this Division."

The Pokemon Center changed within five months. It was the busiest place ever since they come to know the efficiency of the goods sold in PokeMart.

The first person to verify the potency of the potions was Reika. Five months ago, Koshi, the nurse head was almost killed by the collective Gust attacks of several Pidgeys that tried besieging the hospital. Her left leg was almost severed off due to the big impact when she was flung away and crushed against the wall.

Reika saw this and was in a panic state. She searched for any medicines but they were all taken by the other nurses. Koshi's condition was very critical and Reika needed to stop the bleeding or her situation would be fatal. She remembered her reward when she attended Okami's event and let her drink the potion immediately. The effect was very good because Koshi's gashes and wounds were not bleeding anymore and the limb was connected properly again. Even though the wounds were not totally gone, Reika was glad that Koshi's conditions were now stable.

The second person to attest the beauty of potions was Akira when he was wounded in an accident.

The different clans heard these claims and went to the PokeMart to buy potions. Once their clan members experienced the power of potions, they started trying the Antidotes and Paralyzed Heal as well. At once, the sales of these three goods boomed and Tomiro became a very busy.

Even Baki was not spared ever since the Pokemon Trainers started catching their own pokemon. They came to know the beauty of instantly healing their captured pokemon through the healing machine. Even some would just use the Healing Station's service in determining the Pokedex entry of the ones they captured via the screen behind the counter.

Baki posted the rules and regulations that needed to be observed through the big board beside the main door. He also included the basic services that the Pokemon Center offered. At once, many Pokemon Trainers went to inquire Baki about the PC once they knew about the six-pokemon requirement. All of them created their own accounts and started using the PC services.

"Naruto, will you stop that? You are making me dizzy." Sakura scolded Naruto who kept on walking back and forth the entrance of the Pokemon Center.

"But where's Okami? When will he return? Kakashi-sensei said that he just had a vacation but it's taking him so long." Naruto stated as he took a seat on the bench.

Kakashi ignored Naruto's complaints and looked around. He noticed that there were some familiar birds that were perched on the trees. Upon closer look, he recognized that they were Pidgeys.

When Naruto heard no one answering him, he stared at Kakashi to pester him when he saw that his sensei was looking at something. He followed his gaze and saw the birds as well. "Hey, they're Pidgeys. How come there are so many of them, nowadays? Are they Okami's as well?"

"I wonder," Kakashi replied as he returned back to the Pokemon Center's entrance and started reading the Icha Icha series.

Sasuke practice several Taijutsu techniques to spend his time. His defeat from Okami was still fresh in his memory even though it happened five months ago and he was all the more inspired to get stronger. He knew that he had no business talking about revenge against his brother Itachi when he could not even defeat a single Okami.

Naruto summoned Vulpix and absorbed him. He moved to the center area of the yard and said, "Pokemon Jutsu: Dark Ember!"

Sasuke's eyes widened when he saw Naruto doing the very same technique Okami. The only difference it had was the color, wherein Okami's was bluish-white while Naruto's flame was black.

Sakura was frightened when she saw how dark the flame was. "How can you produce an evil flame?!"

Kakashi heard what Naruto exclaimed and remembered the battle scene between Sasuke and Okami. "Naruto! Do you know how to control that dangerous Jutsu?!"

Before the flame could form into a ball, Naruto canceled the Jutsu by releasing Vulpix. He turned around and made a heroic pose. "Did I just frighten you? Hah!"

Sakura clenched her fists and punched Naruto's stomach. "Don't ever do that again."

Naruto groaned in pain as he stood up. He forgot that Sakura had an unusual strength. When the pain subsided, he approached Kakashi and asked, "Uhm, I want to buy another pokeball."

Kakashi gave him an inquisitive stare. "You wanna buy another pokeball again? How many times did you fail in catching your second pokemon?"

Naruto scratched his head. "Five times."

Sasuke snorted. "Dead last, stop pretending. It was for the tenth time."

"You're not a Pokemon trainer so you don't have business here. Shoo! Go home and say 'Quack', duck-head!" Naruto refuted as he taunted the young Uchiha.

"Hey, stop this. You're not going to start arguing again, right? You've already did more than 8 missions, so I think I can give you a reason for celebration," Kakashi said happily. "And Naruto, remember what you have learned from Okami. Don't waste pokeballs."

Naruto's expression changed when he realized what Kakashi was talking about. He almost spent half of his savings just to buy a new pokeball. If he failed to catch one on his 11th try, then he might cry out loud. "Thank you for telling me, Kakashi-sensei."

"No problem, Naruto." Kakashi looked at his watch and realized that it was almost noon. "It would be better to eat lunch before we start our training. This time, we will be inside a forest. Who knows if we might get lost in the forest, at least our stomach is not empty. Besides, we can restock some supplies to help us in case something happens."

"Ugh! You're jinxing it, Sensei!" Sakura exclaimed.

"I don't believe in jinx. I just believe in myself." Sasuke went ahead without waiting for his teammates.

"So cool!" Sakura praised him.

Naruto snickered. "What's so cool about being a duck-head? Anyway, I'll go to Ichiraku Ramen to have cup noodles as supplies to bring with me."

"Whatever makes you happy, Naruto." Kakashi was about to leave when he remembered something and turned around. "Remember to avoid dealing with any pokemon you might meet on your way to Ichiraku Ramen."

"I agree, Naruto. But if the pokemon attacks you, then you have to fight back to defend yourself. You can also catch it if you have made it very weak," Sakura reminded him.

Naruto nodded. "Nothing will happen to me! See you at 1 PM."

The first chapter of the mass release. XD.
