The next morning Misty wakes up to find herself being embraced by Ichigo from behind. After a moment of surprise she feels something poking her ass. She twists her body and sees Icigo's morning wood then screams and falls of the cot as she backed away.

Ichigo and Riolu wake up. "What's wrong?!" He sees Misty pointing to his crotch and looks. "Oh, that. Don't worry most guys experience this early in the morning I wasn't doing anything intentionally. Anyways, since we're up, we should eat breakfast and make our way to Viridian. When we get there we should get you some camping gear if you're going to be traveling with us as well as everything we need to camp in the Viridian Forest for a few days. We will stay the night at one of the rooms the Pokemon Center offers to trainers."

"Okay, fine I'll let you off just this once but not next time. What all do I need for camping and do we really need to stay in the forest that long?"

"At the very least you will need a small one or two person tent, a sleeping bag, a tarp, a chair, a sleeping pad, some water bottles, and a first aid kit. If you can afford it, a cot, fire starter, knife, small hand saw, and either matches or a good lighter. As for the forest, I want to spend some time training and catch a bulbasaur to fight the Pewter Gym with. Riolu may be a fighting and steel type, but I would like a grass type so he doesn't have to fight multiple opponents in a row. Not only that but I hear that the Cerulean City Gym uses water types so a grass type like bulbasaur would be useful there as well."

"Okay, I understand now. However do I really need a tent don't you have one that we can share?"

"Yes I do have a tent we can share but I suggested getting your own so that you will have some privacy and have to worry about me walking in on you while you change."

"Oh."

After the discussion they eat, pack, and head out. After arriving in Viridian, they learn that a trio of bumbass pokemon thieves attempted to steal the pokemon there but were chased away by a boy and his pikachu.
