Louis' Rejection

"Hey, do you know?" a young man beside Mao Zi asked boredly, chewing gum in his mouth.

"Hmmm, know what?"

"That you seem like a ridiculous guy who thinks you can easily offend that mixed-race guy? How ridiculous. I doubt even you can match him in terms of attracting women. Besides, what's your reason for entering this University? Is it just to play around?" the young man sneered with an expression that looked like he was boredly mocking.

Thinking a little about what Chang Kai said, Mao Zi looked up at the cloudy sky and muttered, "I don't know, I don't really understand either. I came here because I was going to be admitted to the best University in China after saving an important person on campus, and I agreed to it because Ye Yue is here. My intention to study here…."

Wincing helplessly, he only replied, "…. Well, I don't even know. I just want to reach a point where not everyone can…."

Looking at Mao Zi in confusion, Chang Kai just sighed tiredly and responded, "Sigh…. That's up to you. However, keep in mind that offending someone you can't offend is not a good thing. When they had already walked into the lecture building together near the rectorate, they both now saw a group of people who seemed to be watching something with enthusiasm.

"Move aside, move aside! I want to see it!"

"Is this going to be another rejection?"

"Damn, isn't that bastard rumored to already have a girlfriend? So why are there still so many girls throwing themselves at him?!!!"

Mao Zi, who heard the grumbling, couldn't help but be curious about what was going on there.

"Hey Chang Kai, what's going on there?" Mao Zi asked, pointing to the crowd with a confused expression.

Looking in the direction the man was pointing, Chang Kai simply replied with a flat expression, "Ahhhh, that? If I'm not mistaken, it looks like another girl is asking Louis to be her boyfriend…"

"Louis…?" He unconsciously said the name. "Why does that bastard's name always appear on so many people's lips…?"

He couldn't help but feel disgusted by it, and then he decided to ignore it. But, he felt like he heard a familiar voice in his ear.

"…. Will you be my boyfriend, Louiss….?"

Instantly, his steps stopped and he unconsciously turned towards the voice. "Is that….?"

Then, with a high sense of curiosity, he walked over there and tried to see what was going on there.

"Move aside, I want to pass!"

Only to find that a girl who was very familiar to him was now kneeling to a very handsome man with the tall and muscular body of a Greek statue who looked at the girl with a bored expression. The man then simply said one short sentence, "No, thank you."

When everyone heard the answer, they didn't seem too surprised.

Meanwhile, Mao Zi was now very stunned by the man's rejection, but what made him even more stunned was that the girl who asked the man out was Ye Yue, his childhood sweetheart he had always chased!

When he heard the conversation between Louis and Ye Yue, it further fueled his anger.

Upon hearing the rejection, Ye Yue staggered and fell to the ground, then lifted her head and stared into Louis' eyes as he turned away and walked off, his eyes glistening with tears.

Shortly after, the girl asked an absurd question that bewildered him, "Why did you reject me?!! Am I not prettier than your girlfriend?!! I've confessed to you more than 5 times, yet you always reject me! Why... At least give me a clear reason!!"

His steps paused momentarily upon hearing that, then he glanced back and asked in return, "Instead, I'm curious. Why did you confess to me? I know I'm popular, handsome, and wealthy. But, do you only want me because of that? If so, you should look for it in other men who are interested in superficial beauty like yours."

Ye Yue couldn't speak after seeing Louis utter those words. "Y-You—"

But before she could say anything, suddenly a loud male voice was heard from a position not far from her.

"Ye Yue, stop your behavior!!! Until when will you continue to degrade yourself!!!"
