The Player Who Can't Level UP

While others are trying to control the mana within them, Vi, on the other hand, is controlling the huge pool of mana in the world he is in. As a level 1 player who can't level up, he resorts to other methods to become the strongest. Can't tame monsters and summon spiritual beings? No problem, he can use his own blood to create summons. Can't wield weapons made by metals and renowned blacksmiths? No problem, he can use his own bones as his weapons. Can't use elemental powers through mana? No problem, he can use his own shadow to cast magic. Can't execute enough physical power with his level 1 body? No problem, he can transform and bring out unparalleled strength. Can't use illusions and other mental attacks? No problem, he can do all of it with his hair. And thus, Vi becomes a king different from everyone. A king who without an army or kingdom, but a king who alone defeated everyone obstructing his path.

Disbelief

"So, you knew already. It seems like you really care about your big sister and are keeping watch on our battle, huh." Nethaia chuckled softly before she smiled. "Don't worry about me, I am fine. But how did you find out? As far as I know, you are always busy all night getting your first kill from a level 1 monster." Nethaia said before she smiled wider and then continued in an excited tone, "Did you skip playing last night just to keep watch at our battle?"

However, Vi only stared at her expressionlessly. He narrowed his eyes slightly before a long sigh was released from his mouth. He then shook his head twice before he replied, "I didn't."

"You didn't? Then how did you find out?" Nethaia was slightly taken aback as she asked with a confused tone. She slightly tilted her head sideways, and a slight smile still remained. In her mind, since Vi didn't watch their battle, their mother must have told him.

"I heard it from the other players in-game." Vi sighed as he replied.

"From the other players? Don't tell me..." Nethaia was a bit surprised at first. But upon realizing the gravity of his words, she immediately had her eyes constricted. She purposely didn't finish her words as she waited for the other party to continue.

It was at this moment that Vi finally smiled. He rubbed his nose with the back of his right forefinger as he replied, "Hehe, you won't believe it. But I have finally left the game tutorial."

"What? For real? Are you sure you are not joking with me?" Nethaia was pleasantly surprised as she asked. She went closer to Vi and then grabbed his shoulders, pushing him back and forth. "Hurry! Tell me what happened! How did you complete all the five quests in just one night?!"

Even Mea was also surprised. Although she didn't comment and only knitted her eyebrows, she couldn't help but give her full attention to her son. Completing all the five quests and leaving the tutorial ground in a single night? She didn't expect her son to be so capable, especially when he had been trapped in the first stage for over a month. Did some sort of miracle finally happen and the table was finally turned for him?

Or could it be that this son of hers had already cleared all the other stages in the past month as he had just completed all the quests last night?

No, that should not be the case. She knew her son very well. He never lied on such important matters as he was disciplined ever since he had come to mind. He was proud. And he would instead admit a loss instead of bragging about things that he never obtained or achieved to begin with.

Just what exactly happened to him? How did he complete the game tutorial in a single night? Mea narrowed her eyes slightly as she stared at her son as though peering into his very soul.

"Ugh... Stop it, big sister. You're killing me." Vi responded. White foam came out of his mouth. He didn't expect his elder sister to be this excited upon hearing the news.

"S-sorry," Nethaia forced a smile as she let go of Vi's shoulder. But her eyes were still shining in excitement as she asked, "Now, tell me what happened? What weapon did you choose? What's the affinity of your ability? What passive skill did you get? How many active skills did you learn? And your class, what did you choose?"

"Ugh... Can you ask a single question at a time?" Vi replied as he felt lightheaded from the barrage of questions raining down on him. There was even an urge in him to cry.

"Then what class did you pick? With your attitude, I'm sure you chose Assassin, right?" Nethaia responded.

Vi forced a bitter smile as he shook his head and replied, "I don't have one."

"You don't have one? Unspecialized? What the hell is on your mind? Are you stupid? Why didn't you pick a job class? Do you think Unspecialized is all that special?" Hearing such an answer, Nethaia frowned as she refuted. Frustration took over her tone of voice. It was evident that she was opposing the other party's class of choice.

"Ugh..." Vi felt his ears hurting as he put his right index finger inside his right ear. Surely, not going directly to the point would only incur a lot of questions and nagging. With that in mind, Vi decided to just tell her what happened as he continued, "That's not the case, big sister. For some reason, I haven't completed the game tutorial. Instead, I have quit. That said, I can now roam freely the area near the beginner's village. That is how I met those men whom I got the news about you."

"Q-quit the game tutorial? Is that even possible? If you are just joking or dreaming, then hurry up and tell me." Nethaia naturally didn't believe Vi immediately, which was within Vi's expectations as well. How could she believe him if something he had just said was something against the rules? Not even in the rumors did she hear such a case. Quitting the game tutorial? This kid must be out of his mind after being trapped in the first stage for so long!

Even Mea frowned upon the words she had just heard. Did her son finally go mad after failing to leave the tutorial ground for over a month? That was dangerous! She should call a doctor as soon as possible to check his condition before it became worse.

"I'm not joking! I have really quit the game tutorial without completing all the five quests! Why can't you believe me?!" Vi refuted as he glared at Nethaia fiercely. Shortly after, he shifted his gaze at his mother before he added, "And what is that look, mom?! Please, I am not insane. Your thoughts are all written over your face!"

If this went on, Vi felt that he would really go mad. Not because of the game, not because of the world, but because of the two people before him who refused to believe in him.
