Junan and the rest were in the new place. However, they could feel that their freedom had ended. The retainers were patrolling every second street. They were alert.
These two wings were lines of control for the Altar. The news spread about the Runners about how they were creating a ruckus for them.
Five members of the second team were already hostages. The Altar decided to throw them in the Pool of Dead and focus on the real Runners.
Two remaining team members were helpless to battle with so many retainers. They silently watched the hostage being dragged toward the unknown place.
It was enough to destroy their remaining courage. Both teams faced challenges; only half of their members were able to escape and hide. They were looking for the third team now.
