17 The Virus

DID YOU THINK I DROPPED???????????

WRONGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

——

Maegor POV

Finally.

Some months had gone by since my fight with Gorr. The fight had taken alot out of me. Years of not fighting had haunted me during the fight, I give my success to Ku'Gath and his…..'special' fighting style, I guess thats what made us a good duo.

Hurling shit spears with my son just wouldn't be the same with someone else, 10/10 would definitely throw shit spears with him again.

Slaanesh POV

Maegor

The god of plague, pox, decay, despair and alot of other things. All beautiful, but what I've noticed is the mortals….

FUCKING MORTALS! Constantly beseeching his name, using it in vain!

They formed militias and armies to repel his most faithful worshippers. HOW!

Did they not realize his beauty!?

They are one life. But the bacteria in them, the parasites, the mold, that is much more than one organism. Infected by Maegor's disease, yes it will kill kill in a horrific manner but it will bring to life to so many other organisms.

Maegor represents that cycle where dead matter breaks down into matter used by other organisms. The worship of him continues this but they become a "living" vessel capable of hosting so much more death and subsequently the growth of life because of it.

Perhaps...perhaps I could teach them?

"Slaanesh." The voice of my beloved called out to me. Ohh how I wished he would take me.

"Yes, my lord?"

"I require specific ingredients. The sound of cat's graceful stride, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, a bear's kindness, fish's breath, and a bird's spittle." His divine words made my body shake. Instantly, I went to scouring the world for such things…

Maegor POV

Very delicate experimentation had to be done on the necrosword. For some time I had already designated it as mine. Before I had even fought Gorr, I knew I had to have it.

Could you think of it? I could change the sword into a living virus that had multiple god killing diseases on it due to its abilities of permanently killing gods.

However, the sword form would have to change. I needed into my body, the only thing I could liken it to would be the Blacklight virus from prototype, a evolutionary chimeric mutation-causing genetic virus.

It can reproduce only inside the living cells of other biological organisms. After infection, the virus "plugs in" and activates the 'junk' DNA in its victim, resulting in several biological changes that create (and recreate) sentience within the infected creature's cellular makeup.

It acts by affecting the protein encoding regions of the promoter introns in each cell. As a retrovirus, it contains both RNA and the reverse transcriptase enzyme, allowing it to insert its own genetic codes into the host's cells.

It enters, re-purposes and changes the cell, replicating previously dormant non-coding segments of the organism's DNA.

(From wiki)

While I'm sure God's didn't have dna per say. The whole 'godkilling' part of the necrosword would make the virus infectious to the divine.

It would also allow viral biomass that I simply can't do at this second. Im sure in the future, with more practice I could, but this will make that time right now.

A sentient virus, biomass that was bonded to me with the ability to infect beings with divine blood with any disease I wanted….

"GROOVY!" A shout of euphoric pleasure exited my mouth before I could control myself. The realization of the work it would take made me calm down.

MANY, MANY things had to be perfect for this, work unlike anything I had ever done would take place. Thats the reasonI sent Slaanesh on the hunt for those things, only impossible ingredients would make such a thing viable.

Well….except that woman's beard thing. I know that'll be 'possible' in the future, with the...trans stuff.
