After so many years of matchmaking, Tian Shi, the angel of love, still failed to find a love match for Hui Long. Frustrated, the young angel resorted to drinking away his sorrows. “I curse you! You… you loveless human!!! Arghhh!!!” Tian Shi shouted at the heavens. “You cold-hearted man!! Turn into a pig!!!! At least then I can eat you.” But little did he know his words came true. Hui Long, who was currently walking home after his dinner meeting, suddenly felt a pain in his gut. The next second, he changed into a small pink piglet. ‘Huh? What? Who?’ the little pig, lost in the middle of the busy city, looked around dazedly. “Ah, a pig…” Tian Shi picked up the little lost creature and held it up to his face. Unceremoniously, he separated the pig's legs and giggled. “Oh, you're a boy.” The pig let out a loud squeal. ‘Where are you looking, you absurd!!!’ Not understanding the pig language, the young angel giggled. “I'll call you Little Gold. Let's go home. After you are all grown up, I'll make you into pig trotters~” That is how our protagonist got cursed into a pig and kidnapped by a lunatic love angel.

Chapter 6 - Imminent death

Standing in the brightly lit bathroom, Hui Long gazed at his own reflection complexly. Unbeknownst to him, his whole face was covered in a pearl-like sweat. His healthy pink lips had turned slightly blue.

'I look like death brushed against me…' closing his eyes, he tightly gripped the sink.

Ever since he saw that angel in his deathbed, he had expected this day.

But he didn't expect it to be so soon.

When that young angel walked into that restaurant, he felt his heart stop for a moment.

Nothing could startle him like that thought of death.

'It's okay… it's going to be okay…' Gulping, he splashed his face with cold water to bring himself out of his negative thoughts. 'I don't have much time. I need to sort out my affairs.'

He quickly started to draft email after another to his friends and family and scheduled for the emails to be sent a day or two later.

Because he might die tonight.

Hui Long gazed at his reflection with a loud sigh. "I'm lucky… death is not bad… I'll be reborn. I think…"

Not many were lucky like him. They never got the chance to say goodbye. But he did.

He did a quick check of the scheduled emails and let out a small sigh. His parents would miss him like crazy. Who knows, they might even go a bit crazy after he left this world. Taking a deep breath, Hui Long met his gaze in the mirror. "They will move on."

He quickly wiped his face clean with a tissue and walked out of the bathroom, ready to meet his death face to face. But as he entered the restaurant, he was shocked to find that table empty. Only a few white feathers were scattered on the ground.

He gestured to the waiter nearby. "Did the person who was sitting here leave?"

"Yes, sir, he left a while ago."

"Oh…" Hui Long was stunned. If that angel was here for him, why did he leave before he could meet him? Blinking, he gazed at the few feathers scattered on the ground. 'I guess I can't meet him face to face. Maybe my death will be indirect…'

Squatting down, he picked up all the feathers. Under the moonlight, the feathers glowed a soft pearly white. 'They are just like I remember…'

When he was a young child, he had a very bad accident and had fallen into a coma. When he miraculously woke up, he had seen the angelic creature standing next to the window, sparkling under the moonlight. His worried gaze was on him. Hui Long smiled softly. 'Angels are too pretty…' Thinking of this, he stuffed the feathers into his coat.

The waiter watched the man sweep the clean ground and stuff something in his coat with a blank face. But his twitching eyebrow gave away his feelings. 'Everyone has gone crazy today. That guy also did the same…' But as a waiter, he had trained himself to keep his expression blank.

"Thank you…" the taller man whispered and walked out.

Hui Long walked out of the restaurant into the busy roadside. His phone rang right then.

"You have a meeting in ten minutes! Where are you? And why are you not responding to my text! I swear if you try to run away I will quit!" his assistant shouted.

Hui Long smiled softly. "Take a few days' vacation leave. You can only live once. It's better to see beautiful things while alive." The person on the other side of the line went silent. "Did you hit your head?"

"No."

"Then why are you talking like a crazy person! Are you kidnapped? Blink if you are! Wait, I can't see you. Shout spaghetti. I'll come get you!"

Hui Long chuckled out loud. "I'm fine." He stood in a crossroad gazing ahead.

A pair of couples were seen hugging each other and whispering something with a smile.

Strangely, he felt a sense of forlorn. 'I should have loved when I had the time… tsk what is the use in regret now.'

He had been concentrating too much on expanding his business, so he had put off dating for a while. Adding to that, he had never met a person who took his breath away… 'What can I do now… I have a few moments until death…'

He took his phone out and searched 'what to do seconds before death.'

A few suggestions popped out. The first of it was sex.

He rolled his eyes. Even when he is facing imminent death, he did not want to have sex with a stranger.

'Next…'

He read the next few suggestions. It told him to say goodbye to his family and friends and also to do something that brought him joy.

Hui Long gazed at the red stop sign with a frown. 'What brings me joy?'

Working did not bring him joy… gaming did not bring him joy… in fact, nothing in life brought him joy.

'Let's skip that one…'

The next few suggestions were something he could not fulfill in his timeframe like going on a bungee jump or paragliding.

Sighing, he closed the page. 'Let's just walk around for one last time.'

The signal became green.

He quickly stepped forward. But something was telling him to wait.

So he did. Next second, a bus rushed right in front of his face speedily and stopped in the bus stop closeby.

'Shit!!!!' Panicking, Hui Long gazed at the bus and then at the green signal. 'That was close…'
