*GENJI'S POV

Instead of heading back to the manor, I head to the palace to look for Chaoxing. When I get to his study, I find him sleeping peacefully with his head on the table. Heading inside to where the bed is, I pull off the blanket and go to cover him. But Chaoxing is a very sensitive person. Immediately the blanket touches his body, Chaoxing wakes up.

"You are awake" I said sitting down.

"What are you doing here?" Chaoxing asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"Do you know they are planning a banquet for us?" I asked.

"They always do this whenever we arrive. Its not a big deal." Chaoxing said.

"You have no plans on going back to the manor do you?"I asked.

"I am not like you. I can't smile and shake with someone that I really want to kill. They have caused me so much hardship. What do you plan to do? If you come out as the empress, your identity will be revealed" Chaoxing said.
