69 Can't save everyone

~Omni pov~

While walking towards the principal's office, Gojo tells Yuji "First things first yuji, you got an interview with the principal. If you mess up you might be rejected for admission, so stay frosty"

"WHAT!? And I get executed right away?!"

While Yuji was close to freaking out, a mouth suddenly manifested to the side of his face.

"What a disappointment... I at least thought one of the two of you would have been the leader. A hierarchy not base purely on strength is boring if you ask me" said the king of curses, who was quickly stopped by Yuji as he put a hand over the grown mouth at the side of his face.

"Sorry sensei, he comes out when he wants to sometimes"

Sukuna's mouth then came out of the back of Yuji's hand that was stopping him from talking.

"I owe a debt to you after all, when I make this kid's body mine the first one I would kill would be one of you two"

"Aww man the king of curses is coming right after me, I'm going to blush" said Ash with fake affection mocking him.

Gojo then joined in the teasing "Me, a target of the great Sukuna? What an honor!"

Yuji while trying to cover Sukuna's mouth asked "Is he really that famous"

Which caused Gojo to talk about Sukuna's appearance and his history known as the king of curses.

When Gojo finished they arrived infront of the principal's office.

"Is he stronger than any of you two" Yuji asked looking between Ash and Gojo.

Ash and Gojo just looked at each other and laughed.

Gojo started "If Sukuna were to regain all of his power..."

Ash then continued it "It would be a slightly tough battle..."

Yuji looking between them once again asked "Would any of you lose"

Ash and Gojo just smirked and looked at each other and at the same time as if they were in sync said "Nah, We'd win"

Ash then waved his hands infront of his face as if they were talking about something unimportant and said "He's weak after all"

And with that Gojo and Yuji went inside the principal's office and Yuji started his interview, while Ash stayed behind and waited for them.

After a few minutes Yuji came out all excited clearly happy about passing his interview.

Ash just patted Yuji in the back and said "Seeing you all smiling I pretty much guess you passed congrats, With that I'm now officially your senpai"

Yuji still smiling bowed and said "Please take care of me Senpai"

Ash then covered his mouth and turned his head to the side pretending to be all emotional "If only Megumi was even a little bit excited as you are it would have been perfect"

And with that they went towards the dorm rooms where Yuji would be staying at.

While Gojo and Yuji were discussing things in his room Fushiguro came out from right next door.

"Yo, Megumi" said Ash leaning against the wall outside Yuji's room.

Megumi just nodded his head as a greeting and looked at Gojo who was coming out with Yuji.

"Fushiguro!" Yuji yelled out excited.

And with a sigh Megumi asked "Huh? You're right next door? Isn't there plenty of empty rooms"

Gojo just nonchalantly said "I thought it would be more fun and lively this way"

"Classes and missions are more than enough"

"Anyways... It's fine!! More importantly we're going out tomorrow. We're going to get our third and final first year student"

Ash then left the group while yawning and waving his hands with his back turned towards them "Well enjoy yourself, I would have gone with you guys but I have got some missions I have been delaying. See ya when I see ya"

And with that the next day came...

Everything was going exactly the same with what Ash remembers the story was supposed to go except for one mishap...

They met Nobara Kugisaki, the third first year student, in Harajuku. When they met up Gojo decided to take them sight seeing in Tokyo. Which made Nobara and Yuji excited since they have never been to Tokyo.

Gojo took them to a Roppongi which disappointed both of them.

Megumi who was unimpressed just asked "There's curses in there aren't there"

"This is gonna be a practical test for the two of you, Nobara and Yuji, both of you have to exorcize the curses in this building"

Gojo then went on to give Yuji the curse tool "Slaughter Demon"

"Oi Yuji, you must suppress Sukuna. If not nearby curses will instantly get killed and people nearby will be drag into it"

And with that both Nobara and Yuji entered the building, where they decided to split up.

As soon as they went their separate ways A curse then appeared behind Yuji. It was shaped like a praying mantis with two scythes for hands ready to swing it at Yuji.

Yuji sensing something behind him quickly swung his curse tool, which cause the hand and tool to clash causing sparks to fly about due to the collision.

The curse swung it's other arm which cause Yuji to jump backwards to dodge it. But the curse wasn't going to let go of him that easily, it jumped forwards towards him and swung it's scythe hand causing a slash to appear on his chest.

Luckily Yuji backed away slightly so the cut wasn't that deep and as the curse's arm was at the lowest point possible Yuji raised his legs and brought his foot ontop of the arm and held it in place.

The curse swung it's other arm trying to decapitate him but Yuji quickly lowered his posture dodging it. And as he dropped down Yuji used the momentum and chopped off the arm he was stepping on.

The curse just screamed in pain and swung it's leftover scythe arm onto the back of Yuji. But before that could happen Yuji maneuvered the tool in his hand and launched it towards the curses head. Due to Yuji's superior physique the curse tool went right through the curses head and embedded itself onto the ceiling.

The curse just stood there with it's arm pointing onto Yuji's back and slowly fell backwards and started to disintegrate, which cause Yuji to sigh in relief.

Standing up Yuji carefully touch the wound in his chest and winced slightly. He then looked towards the ceiling and crouched down to power up his jump and with a quick jump he pulled down his tool. When he looked up he saw blood dripping down from the hole. He just looked at it in confusion.

Meanwhile, when they separated Nobara went up the stairs and started looking inside the different rooms for any curses, until she found a room with a kid squatting down in the corner trying to hide.

While looking at the kid she notices a curse trying to disguise itself as a mannequin. "I see, you're a dumbass for trying to hide in plain sight. I can literally see you, how stupid do you have to be" Nobara said while taking out her hammer and nails.

Without hesitation she tosses the nails in the air and swings her hammer sending the nails flying and sinking into the curse. The nails then started glowing with Nobara's curse energy which caused the curse to scream in pain. And with that the curse was exorcized.

When Nobara turned to look at the kid she found half his torso missing and blood flowing everywhere...

*Barrrfffffff*

Seeing such a scene all she could do was barf and while wiping her mouth all she heard was laughter.

With a face of disbelieve Nobara slowly looked up and saw a hairy looking curse with blood surrounding it's mouth and laughing at her.

With a crazed look Nobara threw more nails in the air and swung her hammer. The nails were sent flying towards the curse but the curse just dodged it and went running towards Nobara, before Nobara could take out more nails, the curse was already infront of her.

The curse then stretched out it's arm ready to take a hold of her. But before that could happen a curse tool came up from under the floor and right into the foot of the curse. Which cause it to let out a blood curdling scream.

Seeing her opportunity Nobara took out two nails and sent it towards the arms of the curse. With its arms coming off the curse got scared and started running towards the windows

It was during that time that Yuji came running up the stairs and into her room where he heard the commotion and seeing the curse running and jumping towards the window, Yuji position the knife curse tool as if he was going to throw it but Nobara stopped him.

"Stop, this is personal" Nobara then went and grabbed the arm she took off the curse and took out a straw doll from her jacket and put it ontop of the arm. She then used her technique 'Resonance' as the curse was already out the window.

And as the curse jumped out the window, Megumi was seen outside in position to summon one of his Ten Shadows but before he could do it, the curse suddenly popped with large needles coming out of it. Being exorcized for good.

After a while Nobara and Yuji came out of the building with a solemn expression and with slight tears in their eyes. While Yuji had his fist clenched in tight fist with blood coming out.

Gojo's layed back expression dissappeared seeing Yuji slightly injured and their expression. "What happened" he asked in a serious tone.

When they describe what happened Gojo clicked his tongue. 'I thought they would have taken care of it with no casualties, this isn't what I wanted to see when I took them on their first mission, sighh I guess you can never truly predict a curse spirit's actions and how low they would go'

With a sigh Gojo went to both of them and gave them a hug and said "This job isn't always pretty, you're not going to be able to save everyone"

And with that the day soon came to an end...
