I'll avenge!!

As the sun rays hit the windows and pierced into the room, her eyes flew open in fear, then shock slowly pervaded her expression. She sat up abruptly and looked around where she was. A thought suddenly came into her mind but she shook it off. How could that be? The last thing she remembered was seeing Han Qing in the battle against the Red Assassins. And then she got shot and blew up. So, why was she here?

She got up from the bed and looked around the room. Ancient bed style. Wooden tables. Everything in the room looked ancient. She pinched her brows in confusion and made her way out of the room but halted halfway. She turned to look at the mirror she passed by and her eyes flew open in shock. She was putting on a pink traditional attire. But that wasn't the biggest shock. She looked different. She gazed at the mirror and what she saw was a pale looking young girl around eighteen year old staring back at her. There were dark circles under her eyes and her eyes were red and puffy. A proof that she had been crying.

Suddenly, her head swiveled and she grabbed her hair in pain as it felt like it was about to split. As she stood gnashing her teeth in pain, several images ran through her mind until the headache finally went down. She stared back at the mirror. She immediately realised who she was.

A girl who had a similar name as her, Tang Xin. An eighteen year old who lost her mother on the day she was born and was considered a jinx from then on. She had two stepsisters, a younger brother and a father who didn't bother to care about her.

She looked at herself in shock. She had only heard of this in tales. Transmigration?? How is this possible?

She was stumped as she looked at the girl in front of mirror and didn't notice the tear the slipped down her cheeks.

It was utterly shocking to her that she couldn't help but wail. The tears rolled down uncontrollably as she held her chest. Her heart was clumped. The despair and sorrow she felt when she found that her trusted friend poisoned her. Where was the so called brotherhood!! The blood they had all shed together.

She sat on the floor in a crying mess for a long time before looking back at the mirror. As she looked at the frail and emotionally disturbed girl in front of her, determination flashed through her eyes. As an elder sister, she would avenge this girl. She turned around and that was when the door suddenly flew open.

She looked behind her and a young girl about her age came into view.

"Miss"

She blanked out for a moment before regaining herself. She remembered now. This was her personal maid and the only person she didn't stay away from her

"Wu Qin"

"Miss, have you been crying again. Look, your face is not good. At this rate, no man will like you if you look like this."

She turned to look at the young maid and had the urge to burst into laughter but she merely smiled. No man will like her? Men line up in front of her fort to get a day with her.

"Wu Qin, prepare my bath"

"Yes, miss"

She turned around and walked to her bed gingerly totally unaware that her servant was dumbfounded by her sudden change in poise.

Soon, she heard the door close. She walked around the room trying to get every information she could find. And with her memories, she remembered every of her possessions.

Soon, she came out in a bathrobe and sat in front of the mirror. In her memory, she remembered that her stepsisters bullied her a lot because she wasn't used to dressing up. She grabbed a comb and moved to brush her hair. That was when Wu Qin came in and her eyes flew open in shock. She turned to look at her in confusion but Wu Qin simply collected the comb from her.

"Miss, let me do it for you"

"Why?" she looked at the girl who had a worried look on her face and a lightbulb flashed in her head. She remembered. Sometime in the past she had tried to comb her hair herself when her servant was not around but ended up blotting the hair. And she ended up looking like a chicken with hair
