Trying hard..
He stole glances towards his left, but the girl did not budge a little. She was as always engrossed in her work, not even bothering to look, who just sat besides her. He once again looked at her, with love struck eyes and sighed. "Hello there Miss Woods!"
Linda was startled at the voice and looked to her right, coming out of the trance. "Oh! Mr. Turner! How are you?" She held out her hand, and offered a hand-shake to him.
Austin held the girl's hand and shivered instantly at the touch. Her hands were even now so soft to touch and her skin silky smooth. He looked in her light brown eyes, wanting to not even blink. "I am fine! How have you been?" Austin was still holding the girl's hand, not willing to leave it
"Well! I am good too!" Linda pulled out her hand from his clutch, trying not to make it look awkward.
"Your company 'Woods and company' is doing a great job!" Austin remarked happily, trying to make the conversation going on.
"Ah! Well thanks! Just trying my best." Linda spoke awkwardly. It was hard for her to behave as if nothing rough happened between them the last time. She had literally thrown the resignation on the man's face, five years back and he was still being nice to her?
"Good! Good! Keep it up!" Austin spoke up again with a smile, checking out the girl again, from head to toe.
Smith who had purposely occupied a seat far away from him, made his team to sit at the other far end too. He wanted Austin to have an alone time with the girl.
