Arbaz was still skeptical of Samir's words. It is not the first time Samir played this prank knowing this is his weakness.

"I am for real this time, bro. You remember Siraj? The boy who would always follow you when we were in school."

Of course Arbaz remembered. Although Siraj was not from their school, they were quite close as he would always treat him like his elder brother. Siraj may look a problematic student but his heart is good. It's just he doesn't like to study. Because of his recent work, he hadn't contacted Siraj for many days.

"What happened to him?"

"Actually I give Siraj your letters this time and told him to deliver it."

"Did not I told you just to give that letter randomly? It doesn't matter if the letter reaches to her or not." Arbaz does not care if the person he was writing for read it or not. He originally writes this letter when he misses her but his friends insisted to send the letter.

Arbaz also has a little hope is his heart one she may read his letter. He knows he is not very good at writing this kind of things. So she would never be moved by the letters. He just hopes she could know his existence.

He thought in his heart, Kifayat, what does she think of my letter?

What do I think of letter? Kifayat thought of Saba's question seriously. "The person is not very good at expressing his emotion. It is not a heartwarming letter that could make you move to tears but....."

"I could see the sincerity in his wishes." He may not be a friend but feels more like an well wisher.

"Nothing else? But you usually don't care about this type of things. Why did you suddenly started to pay attention to his letter?"

"It's because....." Kifayat paused. Her thoughts suddenly flashed back to few months ago.

It was victory day. In every school this day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and due solemnity remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to carve out an independent country. Their school is no exceptions. Our School also organizes a colourful cultural program highlighting the significance of the day. The students took part in a parade, cultural program and art exhibition, celebrating the history and culture of the country.

That day Kifayat also had a class performance and another solo performance.

Her solo performance was singing which was after the group performance. After their class performance ended Kifayat was supposed to change into another dress but when she went to the dressing room, she found her dress was soiled by someone.

Everyone in her class was furious. They suspected it was done by someone who is jealous of her.

"Who came to the dressing room before us, don't think if you try to hide I will not be able to find out." Saba was furious. She started yelling at every one. Cyra and Lia tried to persuade her to calm down.

Kifayat said, "We will investigate that later. Now focus on how to fix this dress."

"Why don't we find you another one?" Lia said to Kifayat.

"It's too late. They will call me after the next performance."

"But you were supposed to perform last."

"They brought my performance forward."

Saba angrily shouted, "it was definitely done delibaretly."

At that time, someone knocked on the door. "Is Kifayat here?"

"Well, you are...."

"I came to deliver this dress to you."

"Wow, so fast. I was just thinking why Kifayat was so calm. Turns out she already had a second plan."

Kifayat wanted to say that she didn't know where did this dress come from and asked the girl who gave her the dress. But the girl left after leaving her a small note.

She opened the note, it said, "You don't have to worry about who gave you the dress. Just think it was given by a person who really wants to help you. There is nothing wrong with the dress, you can check it if you want. I am definitely not a bad person. All the best for your performance. I am looking forward to it."

At this time someone came to inform her that she is next. Cyra hurriedly pushed her to get changed and then help her do the makeup.

Kifayat went to the stage. After taking the stage, the host handed the microphone to her. Kifayat sat on the high wooden bench, the surrounding was darken, and the only light on the stage was shining on her.

Before she started singing, she expressed her gratitude to the person who helped her.

"I faced a little trouble before coming to the stage. But someone helped me out although I don't know him. So I would like to say thanks to him. I am an amateur in singing but I would still try my best. I am apologizing for my mistake beforehand."

Then the accompaniment started after a while, and the melody was gentle and melodious. Everyone's attention was focused on her.

Arbaz looked at her fascinatingly. The girl sitting on the high wooden bench had picturesque brows and eyes, and a little smile at the corner of her mouth. The sweet voice in the sound and the lighting on the stage seemed to create an atmosphere for her.

He was glad that he was of a help today. He came to visit his old school today because he thought he might see her in today's event. He was lucky that he also got to see her performance. In order to inquire about her performance schedule he approached a few of his juniors and accidentally heard the girls conversation about the soiled dress.

He was worried so he asked for help from his friends girlfriend who also came with them. Fortunately the dress was bought in time and he also received a thanks for her.

"Bro, you are so fascinated. Your eyes are almost glued on her." Samir teased Arbaz who was smiling like a fool looking at the stage.

Arbaz did not deny it. "Thanks man, thanks to your girlfriend too. I owe you this time."

"There is nothing like thanks between our buddies!" Samir gently punched Arbaz on his chest. Both of them smiled and enjoyed the performance.

Kifayat got down from the stage and went to look for the person who gave her the dress. But she could not find her. Saba, Lia, Cyra also tried to find her. But none of them had seen the girl before. So she was convinced that the girl was not from their school.

Kifayat didn't show the note to the three of them. She knew they would make fun of her. Kifayat hoped that the girl would find her. But it didn't happen.

After the victory day, the school holiday began. Till now there was no news from that girl or the writer of the note.

Until a few days ago, she noticed the letter on her desk. It was not the first time she saw this type of letter she wanted to ignore it at first. Then Saba came to grab the letter.

"The letter was sent again. It hadn't come for a month. I thought the boy was already tired after not getting any responses."

"What do you mean by the letter was not sent for a month?"

"You don't remember? Look at this letter. Someone has been sending this type of letter to you for many days."

Kifayat looked at the letter. The handwriting caught her eyes. It was the same handwriting as the note.

"What did you do with the previous letter? Did you threw it away?"

"Of course not!. How could I throw away someone's sincerity? I kept the letters very securely."

"Then bring those letters to me tomorrow."

"Why?"

"I will tell you that later." Then she discovered the letter was probably sent from the same person who gave her the dress. Then she became a little curious about that person.

And now back to the present,

"Kifayat!!!!" Cyra kept shaking Kifayat's shoulder. "Where did you lose your mind?"

"No, I was just thinking of Saba's question."

"What did you think?"

Kifayat smiled and said, "Maybe because I owe him a favor."

"Huh!? Wait, what favor?" Kifayat left leaving the three of them confused.
