Auction Begins

Victor entered the crowded auction hall silently. He wanted to take an inconspicuous seat without attracting attention. However, his wish was never fulfilled.

"Victorrr!" Claire called out from the VVIP area. "Come and sit with meee!" Apparently, the beauty had consumed a few glasses of wine and was enjoying herself with friends and acquaintances.

Claire Holt was the owner of Mayfair Lagoon. She had cordoned off an area for her close friends. In her VVIP box, Julia, Rose, and Sophia accompanied her. Even Haley B had joined the party. She was not someone who usually attended auctions but she had arrived there for a certain someone.

Victor was expressionless as he approached Claire. He could not refuse her in public, as that would ruin the farce that he was a bodyguard. Depriving Claire of what she wanted while drunk wasn't a good idea. She'd enter her rebellious teenager mood otherwise.
