Human Tribulation
When everyone realised that they are not dealing with anyone above Void Breaking Realm they heaved a sigh of relief but they were still cautious since only forces with Tribulation Realm experts will own a Grade 7 space craft.
One of the pirates asked Kai, "Captain why don't we turn a blind eye to them, they clearly are not here for us".
Everyone else nodded their head as they will be inviting trouble if they messed with any strong forces with Tribulation Realm or above experts. From the looks of it the Void Breaking Realm Expert is navigating the ship while the mortal seems to be relaxing himself, so the mortal has a higher status than the cultivator here maybe he is a young master of a powerful faction who is traveling with his proctector.
But Kai didn't agree with them, "Tsk, which force do you think will send their mortal clan members out with only one proctector if they are rich enough to own a Grade 7 ship, so they are are most likely a remnants of faction running away after their downfall".
When Kai said his point of view everyone's suppressed greed started taking over them when they imagined the fortune of a faction that once owned a Grade 7 ship, even if it's only the ship they will profit huge. But anyone in their line of work is not a idiot so they all know that it either fifty fifty but after knowing that there is a possibility of making fortune they are ready to take the risk and even if they miscalculated they will simply flee to another star cluster to hide.
Seeing that he had made everyone interested in this ship he grinned evilly and said, "Then get ready for action and surround them once they are near the asteroid belt".
He paused and said, "Don't underestimate them, a Grade 7 space craft is not easy to handle".
While the pirates were planning to steal their ship Tyche was still reading the biography of his ancestors without any care of the world, well Grey who is in the very own ship already noticed the pirates and he doesn't even need to use the ship's sensors to find them and he easily recognised them from their Green Python logo on their main ship but he didn't care as long as they don't attack.
But as they neared the asteroid belt the pirates started to surround them in their stealth mode and once they fully blocked all the escape routes they came out of stealth mode to do their job.
After blocking their path Kai made a connection with Tyche's ship and announced, "Whoever is in the ship I will give you ten minutes to open the security mechanism and surrender yourself or we will take the ship by force after killing you".
Inside the ship Tyche arrived in the control room after seeing the familiar group of ships surrounding them and he felt funny about the situation as they have stumbled into familiar pirates in the vast space.
Tyche smiled at the situation and said sarcastically, "Uncle Grey, it seems like we are fated".
Grey looked at the pirates and said, "Maybe they have gathered a huge negative karma over the years so now they are facing their 'Human Tribulation' and we seem to be their Tribulation"
When Tyche heard Grey's analysis he recalled his what he learnt about negative karma and Human Tribulation, basically when cultivator do evil things they will accumulate negative karma and when they have gathered a certain amount of negative karma they will have to go through a Human Tribulation which is planned by the Heavenly Dao and if they pass that Tribulation they will wash away their negative karma with other benefits. From their 'coincidental' meeting on two occasions Tyche can confirm that thay are the Human Tribulation for the pirates.
Tyche frowned when he knew that they were played by Heavenly Dao to be a Human Tribulation for others and he didn't like the feeling of plotted, "Uncle Grey, since they are courting death let them die"
Grey grinned at the order and said, "As you wish Young Master", after saying that he arrived outside the ship in a flash and stood in the space facing the pirates main ship with his hands behind his back.
In the Green Python Pirates' main ship seeing someone appearing outside the Grade 7 ship everyone's eyes lit up as they thought their victims are ready to surrender but Grey's next action made chill run down their spine.
Grey raised his hands to summon a red lightning from the void and waved his hands to make a huge lightning cage surrounding the ships blocking their escape route and said, "Let's make it a lightning tribulation".
Seeing that they are locked in be a cage of red lightning the pirates started to beg for mercy, "Senior, please spare us we didn't...."
Not in the mood to listen to their nonsense Grey raised his hand above his head and pressed his palm down making a huge lightning palm manifestation appear above the ships which annihilated the ships leaving only debris and corpse of pirates surrounding their Grade 7 ship.
