“It looks like pictures that I’ve seen of Switzerland,” Dani said, “and the castle is amazing.”
“That isn’t surprising,” Father said, “given that the terrain here is roughly the same as Switzerland, only on an extremely smaller scale. I have ordered a suite of rooms readied for you in il Castello, but if you are going to settle here, would you prefer a separate residence or even a small villa?”
I chuckled at that, and said, “Dani and I have shared several extremely small apartments for the last decade. A suite of rooms in the castle will be more than adequate. Right, Dani?”
“Yeah, especially if it comes with a cleaning service. I plan to spend ten or twelve hours a day in the lab.”
“Surely not,” father said.
“I’m on a mission with a goal, and I’m extremely goal-oriented.”
“He’s not kidding,” I said.
