Entering through the crack of the mountain a view of something he didn't expect reviewed itself. A path of stairs went below, with lighters and something that seemed to be runes engraved on the walls. Reading the text Alex frowned being the language of ancient Dwarfs which are like gods in creating artifacts.

What was written was a warning not of the creation below but for something else. Enormous thoughts rushed into his mind descending below. Sometime later he had reached below with a giant door and a single being standing before the door. 

Certainly, the being that stood before him was a knight guarding the doors, being bigger than Alex in height and mass. Wearing black armor that covered its whole body with parts glowing with a crimson red color along with its eyes that showed from its helmet. 

Emitting power he hadn't achieved yet.

The Blood Knight protects the chamber of its Queen, The Third progenitor of Vampires. With a smile, Alex moved forward his black sword appearing in his hand.

{Monarch's Curse activated.}

His power grew, before he could last a few minutes but now Alex could still be at full power for hours to come. Swords appearing behind him the knight moved slightly and then disappeared. In just a blink of an eye, it appeared before Alex with his veil activating before even hitting.

{Veil activated.}

It broke the Veil but its momentum was greatly slowed down, with his sword from behind trying to block the Knight. Five illusory Spears appeared and struck at the knight at light speed which made it jump back as it kneeled coughing out blood.

Frowning a little Alex dushed forward at its most confusing time to land a killing blow. Reaching there in a matter of seconds he slashed at the knight's head with Five other illusory spears and Swords attacked. Unable to dodge the illusory spears he was hit but still in pain he was able to deflect Alex's attack and swords.

Jumping back, the knight released a blood sword arc straight for Alex whose veil and sword appeared to defend against the attack but unfortunately, they were destroyed as a deep wound appeared on his chest. He fell away to the other side of the space clashing on the walls which the runes glowed. He caused no damage to the walls but still coughed out blood.

[Minor healing in effect.]

[Minor healing can only stop the bleeding and heal 20% of the internal injuries.]

Notifications appeared in front of him with the only thing he could hear was his heart beating. He struggled to stand up as the knight recovered from his attack and started walking toward him.

Wanting to save the small amount of soul energy, he cast knowing only 10 soul spears that appeared with his body filling numb. As he activated Veil and 50 weapons appeared blocking the Knight's way. Defending against the onslaught of weapons and breaking through Veil it reached where Alex was.

In that instant, Alex shouted, " Now Ava." A wave of shadows came from every direction which slowed him down greatly but because of the power difference he knew it wouldn't last. In those given seconds 10 soul spears stroke his heart and long with the last bit of soul energy he activated Monarch's curse.

Holding his sword tightly he struck, but that was also the moment he got free and slashed an attack of his own.

After reaching level 20 Alex was able to sense his sword intent and he had been practicing how to use it which increased his sword attack by 2 times. Infusing his sword with sword intent he slashed forward as the two attacks met.

BOOOOM

Clashing with him he controlled the weapons he deflected away all came stabbing his back and his armor started cracking. The endless swords struck behind him as they broke through after being weakened by Alex's soul spears. But still, the knight kept pushing back without the care of the swords stabbing him from the back.

But Alex had already finished the last amount of soul energy he had, decreasing to nothing. But he was still able to deflect the attack of the knight and jump back. After the knight got his balance he rushed toward Alex who was now worried, "Master."

Ava jumped out of her shadow to protect him but fortunate for them the knight's heart had been stabbed and before even touching them it fell to the ground. Alex sighed and fell as well "Okay that was close."

He said with a smile "Are you okay master." Ava asked staring at the deep wound on Alex's body.

"Don't worry I will be fine." He stood up and said, "Take me to that room okay." He lay on her back feeling drained of all power. He drank potions, on his way to healing his injuries, but suddenly a notification appeared.
