The truth unveils (2)

Rina did not expect that Gabriel could sense her in her camouflage power as not even her sister could detect here while she uses the power. She didn't expect a newly awakened Gabriel could find her so easily.

It was nearly night and Gabriel could hear alarms of the knight division all over the market district and slums. The knights have started scouring through the places for the suspicious summoner. He turned his attention to Rina and asked "What do you want?"

"What I want is for you to give up this quest otherwise I'll make sure you will not have a easy life in the academy." said the girl with a haughty smile.

Gabriel rubbed his head on hearing those words. Rina saw his expression and a nasty smile spread across her face. She felt Gabriel is afraid of the threat and he would give up.

Gabriel's thoughts are completely different. He knew that it will be difficult in the academy for him due to his noble background but this is going too far. There is a harsh penalty in the academy if someone tries to threaten other students from giving up quests.

"Your warning is stupid." said Gabriel and slowly turned to walk away. Rina heard those words and her ego got a critical hit. "You noble scum. Stop there." shouted Rina with anger oozing out.

Gabriel showed his middle finger while walking away which irritated her even more. "How dare you threaten our goddess." both Zack and Griffith shouted at Gabriel.

Rina felt humiliated because her charm power didn't work on Gabriel and he also saw through her camouflage.

Zack had Earth manipulation power while Griffith had superhuman speed. Griffith took hold of Zack and rushed towards Gabriel with speed.

Zack willed the power inside him and the ground started shattering and huge chunks of surface came out with big holes forming on the ground.

As soon as they were near Gabriel Zack threw the big chunks of earth on Gabriel while Griffith had a clawed gauntlet equipped on his right hand to slice Gabriel.

The chunks hit Gabriel and he got thrown 300 meters away due to impact. Griffith's gauntlet nearly came to rip open Gabriel's throat.

Gabriel widened his eyes as he did not expect such fighting from his own classmates. The claw ripped open Gabriel's throat and blood sprayed out of Gabriel's throat.

Gabriel spurted blood from mouth. Griffith looked back and saw Gabriel lying in blood. Gabriel's back was riddled with huge wounds and he was slowly started losing consciousness.

Griffith's expression turned to fear and anxiety after seeing Gabriel dying as they expected him to block the attack but never expected him to die so quickly. Even Zack had a terrified expression in his face.

Rina's haughtiness disappeared and slowly it is replaced with despair and regret. They wanted to trap him using Zack's earth manipulation powers and not let him out until the quest deadline has expired but now they were involved in the murder of Gabriel.

Even her father will not be able to save Rina if this murder comes out. Her father "Erwin Valdez" is a staunch ally to the king and has huge hatred towards nobility. The policies he implemented were openly opposed to nobles and he did not hide hatred anywhere.

If people find out that his second daughter is involved in the murder of Gabriel Dexter then nobles would get a powerful weapon to use against Erwin.

"What have I done?" Griffith trembled as the charm effect vanished and fear got the best of it.

"No, No, No. I thought he would fight to defend himself but he did not even put up a fight. Was he acting during the testing?" Zack said in a loud tone filled with fear.

Even Rina could not think properly as she saw Gabriel close his eyes and died. Unknown to them the real Gabriel was watching them from far away.

Few minutes after Gabriel left the building of the knights...

"So, she can camouflage herself huh?" thought Gabriel as he sensed Rina and other two following them.

"System, how much gold do I have since the quest will give me 500,000 as reward from the academy?" asked Gabriel.

"Host you have 25 million left in your space balls." replied the system.

"Great. How much does the "clones" skill cost?" asked Gabriel.

"1 million host" replied the system.

"Woah! so costly." said Gabriel.

"I think you should buy it host because after reaching country realm the system will stop providing powers to you." said the system.

"Yeah I know. The achievement points will be activated and only by stockpiling them I can buy the powers ,skills and items." said Gabriel.

"But why is the rate so high for this skill?" asked Gabriel. "Since your level is not high you can only have two clones but as soon as you reach continental realm host you can create 100 clones with a hive mind." replied the system.

"That's pretty OP. Now I understand why it is so costly. No delaying it anymore buy the skill system." said Gabriel.

At Present....

Gabriel did not grin or did not laugh at their terrified faces. He did not even feel like he went too far.

These guys thought they could get away by doing nasty things so he gave them a taste a medicine which will feel sour to them for a long time.

Rina started crying in fear as she could not think of anything else. Zack and Griffith fell down and laid as if their life is over.

Suddenly Gabriel flicked his hand and his clone along with blood disappeared from there. When Rina and others looked at the scene they were mortified as the body disappeared.

Only after thinking for a few minutes Rina understood what has happened. "Gabriellll, I'llll killl youuuu" shouted after the way he terrified all of them.

Zack also came out of the charm after Rina lost control of herself. "Oh my god he tricked us." said Zack.

Griffith hit Zack's head and said "You moron. That's not important. He is alive and I did not kill him. I don't mind being tricked by him."

Griffith sighed and felt a weight released from his shoulder. He looked at Rina and whispered "I'll stay as far away from this bitch as possible." as he could understand that she was using some sort of power to captivate him.

"Me too. Let's leave this stupid bitch and go back to the academy." whispered Zack.

Griffith took Zack's head and ran with high speed to get away from there. Rina saw the two of them escaping and shouted "Cowards".

She started gritting her teeth and said "I'll make you pay for playing me Gabriel Dexter."

On the building...

Gabriel saw the other two run away and he also decided to make his way to noble's district. Though Ulrich family is a business family they had a residence in noble's district in the capital.

"Gabriel" came a voice and a smile appeared in his face. It was Penelope. "Yes" said Gabriel.

"What's happening in your mission?" asked Penelope playfully to her mate.

"I found out that the cult that attacked your barony is involved in this case." replied Gabriel.

"What? I am going to come there to wipe them out." said Penelope with anger.

"Penelope listen darling. That cult has some connections to Under Helm somehow. You won't even stand a chance against those guys." said Gabriel.

"But--"

"No buts. I am not going to let my soul mate die. I will tell you the complete details after I come back.

Your first priority should be getting strong and also protecting your little sister." said Gabriel a bit harshly.

Penelope tried to refute but no words came out. "Don't worry you will get the justice your parents deserve but that can only be achieved if you have immense power and strength." Gabriel uttered those words to calm her down.

Penelope calmed down after few seconds and said "You should promise me that you will tell me everything after coming back."

"I promise darling." said Gabriel as he cut down the telepathic connection. He felt like a werewolf who had connection with his mate.

"It is time to bring down the curtains on this entire mystery. That summoner definitely must be with Ulrich family so they must be sheltering him even though he is a bounty hunter." thought Gabriel as he made his way to noble's district.
