When a beast reached level 3 or the Spirit beast Rank, their intelligence will immediately start to develop and learn to not just follow their own instincts, developing their own tactics in hunting or in some other activities. Although some beasts developed them earlier, such as beasts that are of the cunning type, such as wolf-like beasts, fox-like beasts, and other cunning beasts.
Also, it is at this level or rank, that beasts started to understand human language, thus, making communication much easier. Although you can still communicate with beasts of the lower level, it will be through gestures. Though there are some cases where beasts of the lower levels can understand human language, most of them are trained by someone for many years or have stayed along with humans or other intelligent races.
At Beast king rank or level 6 and above, most beasts will start to speak. Although there are some beasts that can still speak before they even reach level 6. But for a beast to achieve this feat, they must have a skill that would let them communicate, like the skill <Telepathy>.
That is why even if the little tiger is just a few days old, it can already understand what Ronald has spoken. And at this time, it had decided to follow Ronald truly.
And about the life contract, Luna had already explained it to Ronald.
A Life contract is a contract that a beast would initiate to someone whom they entrust their life with. It binds a part of their soul to whom they have given their approval, so if that person died, they will die as well. But if the beast is the one that died, the approved person will still live. This can be done only once in their lifetime, and this contract is an irrevocable one. And this is the only way to tame a beast that is 2 or more levels higher than the person.
Also, you can't force a beast to sign a life contract, as a life contract can only be initiated by a beast. And for them, signing a life contract is a sacred ritual. So, they will choose to die than be forced to initiate a life contract. Also, this is the only way a non-tamer class can tame a beast, although they are only limited to one contract per person. Unless their contracted beast died, they can't sign any other life contract from other beasts.
Ronald's mind was blown away when he saw the life contract confirmation screen, as it was just out of the blue, and he didn't expect that the little tiger would initiate it now. When he heard Luna explained everything about the life contract, he thought that he would need several months before the little white tiger would approve him.
The little tiger patiently waited for Ronald to confirm the contract with an expression full of expectations.
A while later, Ronald's mind, that was blown away, came back, and upon seeing the expression of the little white tiger, Ronald smiled and let out a short laugh.
He mentally pressed "yes" in his mind and confirmed the life contract.
After confirming the contract, a small little tiger much smaller than the size of the little tiger appeared on the little white tiger's forehead. It let out an immature roar and entered Ronald's forehead.
Feeling another being entering his soul, Ronald felt uncomfortable at first, but then a relaxing feeling came afterward.
Realizing Ronald's acceptance of the life contract, the little tiger licked his face excitedly.
Ronald felt ticklish by the little tiger's action and let out a laugh.
And while he was enjoying his life, another blue screen appeared in front of him.

But a beast wouldn't simply let someone name it, one must need to be recognized by the beast for someone to have the qualifications to give it a name. According to the gods of this world, a beast's name will have a relation to their future development and may sometimes affect their character."
And as Luna finished what she said, another blue screen appeared in front of Ronald.

Ronald listened to what Luna had said and looked at the task screen.
Although the reward was just 10 modification points, mosquito meat is still meat. But that is not what's important, what is important is giving the little white tiger a name.

"By the way, have you heard what Luna said?" Ronald asked the little tiger, thinking of what he saw a moment ago was just his illusion.
But contrary to his expectations, the little tiger nodded, and Ronald was shocked when he saw this.
"Oh. I forgot to tell you that when her soul entered your soul, her soul became a part of your soul. And remember, I am also a part of your soul. Therefore, the connection between me and her can also be seen as a connection between you and me," Luna explained as she saw Ronald's shocked expression.
