Chapter V: Part II

The school was the same…full of people and visitors that I don’t even know lining up to enter our school booths and facilities… I just put my hands in my pocket and went in without looking at anybody. I just want to get home and stay at my mom’s side…I know that she’s been through a lot since last night.

“Yo…Alex…You ready…?” Austin waved at me before I could even enter. I smiled at him and we both entered inside. I put on my apron on my waist and took the broom (Finally we have a broom). And cleaned the room while a lot of customers are enjoying the sweet aroma of coffee in the air while the jazz music is playing.

“Nice outfit by the way…” Austin stood beside me behind our classroom.

“Yeah…the black apron idea for everyone is cool man…” I replied and smiled at Austin.

“Oh…It’s all Philip’s idea to establish that outfit…he said that ‘we need to look professional…’ yesterday when we spoke…”
