Chronicles Of The New World is a world-class game, a first-ever virtual reality game that was successfully created by a well-known company in a foreign country.

My name is Arthur O'Brien, I am a well-known number one player. It isn't an exaggeration to say that no one could defeat me within this infamous game. Or, should I say, I was?

In skills, levels, techniques, etc, without any arrogance and false claim, I am always the first one in the rank. I was. 

I found this game as my new path of life, the game world as my new world. Every time I was inside the virtual world, I could feel that I was part of it.

However, for some reason, it's no longer just a feeling; right now, I really became part of this world. Although not hundred percent the same as the game world I used to see, I can say that the familiarity is more than 80%.

The day yesterday was expected as a grand day for me as I was confident to finally be able to reach the max level.

There is no doubt about it! 

There is no way a mishap would occur.

However, I didn't expect that something would happen afterward.

Yes, I reached the max level, which is level 300, yet as I was celebrating, my eyes subconsciously glanced at my experience bar and found out that it was draining at a fast pace that even my eyes can't follow.

At first, I thought that it was just a bug or whatever so I decided to try to "log out then log in again" to see what's going to happen.

This phenomenon also did happen to the other players and this was how they dealt with it, log out and log in technique. 

However, with my two very own eyes, as I was about to touch the log-out icon, it (the log-out icon) unexpectedly turned into a mist and dissipated. As if it was just an illusion, no trace was left. 

I don't know what was happening at that time but I was sure that it should be more than just a bug.

The question is, why can't I log out?!

After a day of waiting for the icon to come back, only then I cried without tears, not only did I lose all my level, but also;

I got stuck in the game world...

Hearing the notification from the system, I forcefully halted my thought and placed all the negativity at the back of my head.

Just thinking about the fact that I can't log out anymore and that I am stuck in this game world, it's so depressing as ass.

And for some reason, my six senses felt some changes in this game world. To explain more easily, the game world from being merely a simulation became realistic. As if I am in a real-world not a game at all. 

The sensation of the wind, the heat, the coldness, the pain, etc, are way too real to me. 

Not only did I get stuck, but also the world became like reality. I don't know if science still exists or exit. 

Although it is not easy for me to understand my religious beliefs, I think it's better to investigate this occurrence to know the truth.

Nonetheless, why am I thinking about this again?

I just said that I'll stop thinking about these negative things, sigh*

I shook my head and cleared all of my negative thoughts. I remembered that I have something more worthy of time at the moment.

With my thoughts, the system panel appeared in front of me.

It is a piece of the transparent screen floating in the mid-air, of course, only I could see this screen, at least that was how it works in this game. Well, I kind of don't know how to describe the place I am in right now. A game or not, I am not sure at this moment.

Anyway, even this one screen looks more realistic than before.

Ahhhh!!! 

My brain!!! It keeps making me think about those problems even though I don't want to!!

Seeing my new status, only then did I take a deep breath. 

You must know that not only did my level disappear when I got stuck, but also my skills and abilities. 

I became a newbie within a glimpse of an eye. I worked hard for more than years, but everything became nothing within just a few seconds. 

Even though after the evolution I obtained two kinds of abilities, it still can't be compared to my loss, I guess it isn't that bad.

After checking my new status, I waved my hand and the window was cleared.

I have to think about what to do after this.

With my new skill, my new journey would be smoother than the previous scenario that I have made in my mind, but it doesn't mean I won't encounter any difficulty anymore, just got lighter. 

If I want a clear path, I have to think of a clear goal.
