I took a fast travel tube up to the upper section of the city where the bar was located. In order for me to get there I had to stop at each level of the city and show the guards my gold card so that I could be allowed to continue my advancement into the ring of the world that was for business people.
One of guards stopped me and asked me what my intentions were for going to that district in particular. When he asked me I told him that I was meeting up with a friend at the undead grill.
After I made my way into the business area of the city I was quite surprised and how much more advanced this part of the city looked compared to the area where I originally landed on the world.
The city was full of life and there were lights everywhere shining as if we were in a social area that was frequently visited by those of high society.
As I walked down the main road I was able to see all of the different types of humans that wore Undead like costumes which to me felt quite disgusting because they were such a poor imitation of the real thing.
Since there were so many Undead like people around I chose to embrace my vampireism so that I could fit right in. The first thing that I did to fit in was retract My wings which looked like skeletal wings but they were covered in red flesh. After that I allowed my vampire fangs to be visible to others and I hissed as I walk down the road every so often so that I would fit in perfectly with all of the other weird noises that they were making around me as I made my way to the area where my target was going to be staying for a while.
"Wow that outfit is so awesome! Who is your artist I have to know". A short man who was wrapped in what appeared to be some kind of werewolf fur said to me walk past him right before making it to the bar.
"Oh come on you know that I can't tell you who my artist is because that is a breach of agent and client privilege" I said as I looked at his outfit and started to walk into the bar.
When I started to leave him I noticed that he was depressed but I did not want to be distracted by that since the mission always came first.
"We have our 100th visitor tonight; you all know exactly what that means!" I heard a loud and deep male voice say on a speaker as I entered into the bar.
I was immediately brought to the stage by a bunch of men who were quite muscular for their race and were wearing black t-shirts and a pair of jeans.
"Drink off!!" Everyone in the bar yelled as they pounded their tables. "Drink off!" They kept saying that until I made it to the stage that was centered against the rear wall of the bar.
"Now you know how this goes. If our 100 customer of the night can beat our current drinking champion they will not have to pay for any beverages tonight!" A bald man with black shades who was wearing an all white business suit yield from on the stage as I approached it.
Then I stepped up onto the stage not knowing what to expectin the next hour of this night. I knew though that any kind of alcoholic beverage that the terrans made for their consumption was going to be a whole lot weaker than the kind of alcoholic beverages that I had heard stories of from my parents that they make for the pureblooded vampire adults to drink.
"Introducing our Challenger the attractive lady that I am going to be calling the queen of the undead. The stalker of the night; the queen of all vampires!" The announcer yelled as I stood on the stage and I saw him point at my outfit that I was wearing.
In order to continue to play my part and not blow my cover I showed my things and did a hissing noise at the crown.
"Well gentlemen it looks like somebody is going to get bit tonight". He said before standing up straight and starting his introduction for the person that I was supposed to challenge.
I stood there and waited to find out who it was that I was to challenge when I saw a large man who almost looks like he was as big as ten men walk on to the stage which caused it to wobble as if it was about to break.
Then a smaller table with three bottles of a bluish color of liquor that had a white flame at the top was placed in the center of it. After that we were given shot glasses which I noticed was made out of a cheaper brand of glass than most of the glasses that I had noticed while being pushed up here.
"Now you know the rules first one to tip loses and has to pay the other one's tab for the shots consumed." The announcer said.
They placed a set of four glasses in front of us and poured the blue liquid in each of the glasses and the fat man took the first one and gushed it down immediately and did not move at all.
After she placed his glass face down I took mine and it felt quite soothing as it entered through my throat but it also felt quite weak so I didn't even flinch after I placed the glass face down right across from his.
"Round one and nobody has faced". Announcer said as he walked up and moved the glasses off the table and put them on the floor beside where he would stand.
This process repeated itself for about an hour and we both made it through about 12 shots of this alcoholic beverage before I noticed that he started to shake.
I was quite happy that my vampire body had allowed me to have such a high resistance to poison.
As he was about to grab the next glass he started to shake and wobble until the stage broke beneath him and he fell on his ass. When he did this everyone started to laugh at him.
"We have opened her all hell the queen of the undead!" The announcer exclaimed as he grabbed my hand and lifted it up.
All of the people started to cheer and came ecstatic at the side of me. what I had accomplished.
When they allowed me to leave the stage I walked over to the bar and set in one of the chairs that was by the person who was supposed to be my target without looking at him.
"You can definitely hold your liquor". He saidaid to me as he made his way beside me and handed me a another shot of the same stuff that I had been drinking for the last hour.
"It was just beginner's luck". I told him as I looked at him.
This guy matched the description of my target perfectly now that I had seen him all I had to do was gain his trust enough to where I could be alone with him and finish the job.
