I was amazed at what I saw as I made it to the world i was to complete my mission.
The humans had created an actual barrier around this world which was thought to be almost completely impossible without consuming a lot of high value materials to maintain it.
It seemed quiet interesting how the humans had done it because as I scanned the planet I saw that they used their knowledge of magic as a means to stabilize the barrier.
If I was to give the humans any credit despite their weakness as a race it would be that they are quite ingenuitive and creative. The thought of that made my blood rush because it also made the thought of killing them even more satisfying.
The humans also had a massive fleet that was regarding this world as well as the only crack in their barrier so that they could come into the world as well as leave.
If I was going to survive their blockade I would have to access some of the older codes that we have received from the prisoners of war that we have captured.
"Entrance code please" I heard on my vocal communicator.
I then accessed my files to find the appropriate code for the humans.
"The red lady comes to town with a blue dress".
"Code Accepted. Welcome to Sereat. We are ready to receive our monthly inspection". The young male human said.
Then the fleet started to move giving me a clear pathway into the only breach in their barrier.
I took the pathway that was available to me, and I felt a surge of magic that surrounded me which was intoxicating to me as I made it past the barrier.
I was being followed by two of their fighters that were simply designed in a y shape with the pilot in the middle.
The material look to be quiet thin as if they were favoring mobility over survivability with these specific vessels.
When it came to weapons they had two upper cannons for lasers and the lower one seem to be larger as if it was for missiles or rockets of some kind.
"Make sure that you land on platform seven". A new much younger voice on the intercom said to me.
I followed his instructions and went down to an area of the world where there were a variety of different platforms and landed on platform seven as I was requested to.
Then I empowered my ship and put on some spare clothing that I had in storage.
This clothing made me appear like an inspector. I had a three-piece suit and a red tie.
I then put on a hat so that might ears would be covered because the vampire ears were slightly longer and more pointed than that of humans usually.
After I got dressed in my disguise I walked out of the ship and as I made it out of my ship I saw a set of human soldiers that were all lined up. They saluted to me as I walked through the line.
The only human that did not have on a military uniform or battle armor of any specific house was a short female scientist that had short and thin red hair. She also had on a lab coat and carried a data pad in her right hand.
"Sir I have been directed to bring you from here to the refinery plant so that you can begin your inspection". She said that she pointed towards a speeder that was part at the end of this platform.
"All right I want to get this done as quickly as possible with the least amount of interference. The faster that I get this done the quicker I can return home to my family". I said to her in an urgent tone so that it could appear as if I had the weak emotion of family attachment.
"This should only take up to three hours if you do not get interrupted that often".
I then got on the passenger seat of the two-man scooter and I was spent through the city to the Paradisus refinery.
As I was being thrust into motion by this machine I suddenly was enveloped in a dreadful amount of the emotion of fear. It would be the first time that I noticed that I only like it when my feet are touching a solid floor or walkway.
After I got my grit together I inspected the city I was able to tell that this place was almost entirely a factory focused planet. The speeder had to dodge a lot of pipes and long metal cat box that connected all of the buildings.
It did not take long for us to arrive at our destination. When we did I got off of the speeder and became happy that I was finally touching solid ground again even if I could tell that it was artificially grown grass.
Then after I got on the catwalk and made it to the factory I noticed that the structure had four floors in it and the windows were almost entirely glass. They only had three metal chimneys to bring out the fumes created by this refinery.
While the humans were creative and quite adaptive in their approaches to war they could definitely use some upgrades in execution because I thought that there actors were quite vulgar and disgusting to look at.
A medium height but quite overweight man that wore a white business suit and had a very messy white beard as if he did not care about how it was maintained.
I could also smell alcohol on him was eating a giant piece of meat with his left hand.
"As you can see our refinery is working perfectly fine. Do not know why you had to come all the way over here to inspect it". Said to me as he took a bite of his meat and spit some of it out in small chunks.
"It does not matter that you understand why I have to do it; the truth is is that I have to do it because it is my job. If your planet is classified as a level 5 hazard with this then you will lose your license as well as require us to relocate this refinery to another planet". I said to him as I pushed him aside and went into the refinery.
The refinery was unable to be heard from the outside but as soon as I stepped inside I was enveloped in the loud mechanical noises of the machines and trucks.
On the inside of the refinery they had divided each of the floors into separate forms of refinement. On the entry level was where the trucks pulled in and dropped off the raw Paradisus and they also chopped it into smaller chunks with the use of a large sawblade.
When I made it to the second floor I noticed that it was used to take the minerals and refine them into their different forms. Against the left wall they converted it into a stone like form and scented to the top level against the right wall they refined it to a smaller form and categorized it into five different categories before sending it up to the top level.
I use the catwalk to try to make it to the top floor but instead of getting access to it the door that led to the third level was completely locked.
"I thought I was to be gainful access to your facilities". I said as I yanked on the door and it did not budge.
"That area is restricted; only I and the other owners are allowed in this place". Money manager said as he was spitting his meat on me.
"If you will not give me access to your Tom more than I will register this as a hazard; and then within twelve hours the facility will be torn down are we clear on that". I said as I took an edge piece of the fat man's meat and ate it right in front of his face.
As soon as I backed away I could tell that my message had gotten across to him and he opened the door to the third level of the refinery.
In the upper level of the refinery I noticed that the humans had people pouring energy of a variety of different colors either into the stones they created or the bullets which meant that this was the final step of them making the elemental stones and elemental bullets that they had become infamous among my people for making.
The humans turned around and looked at me as I entered into the third floor.
"Well what do you think of our factory now that you have seen everything?" The manager asked me but this time with a clear mouth since he had placed down his food.
"I want to give this place a mark". I said to them in a very serious tone
"Why would you give us a mark; Our facility is running at full capacity and we are chemically clean?" The manager said as he backed away and bumped into the door frame.
"I think I will just end you now and save the universe the calories that you will consume on a daily basis". I said as I shot the fat manager with a bullet from the gun that was under my suit.
When he fell on the ground everyone started to scream and run around in a massive panic.
The thought of killing these humans but nothing but satisfaction to me as both a bounty hunter for completing his mission and a vampire who would hold these humans within an inch of their lives just a short while before killing them.
I then put them in a panicking mood by shooting each one of the humans in the shoulder.
"Now which one of you is the head researcher in Paradisus?". I asked them as I shot in the air.
"Like we are going to tell you anything now that we know that you are not here to inspect us but kill us". The scientist that guided me to the refinery said as he spit at me
"You have to understand that I will complete my mission no matter what. Now how fast I get it done, and how many of you that will die before that gets done is completely up to you all".
After I spoke I started to grab one of the mages by the arm and dislocated his left shoulder.
He then started to screech in pain and the sounds that he made sent a Rush of adrenaline and satisfaction throughout my veins.
"That would be me I am Daniel head researcher". A female scientist said as she crushed over to me and started to cry as if I hadn't done something dreadful.
"Well; I see that at least one of you is a reasonable individual".
As I made it to the head female scientist I grabbed my gun and shot her directly in the head; and then she immediately fell into the ground and started to bleed from where I shot her.
"Now that she is dead my mission is complete; but unfortunately I cannot allow any of you to survive to tell people about me". I said as I grabbed each of them and line them up against the rear wall of the third floor.
I then shot all of them one by one until they fell on the ground.
After I did that I decided to sabotage there shooters and make it appear as if the cyborgs had come to sanitize their work.
Whenever my mission was complete I made it back to the landing pad without any trouble because I remembered the direction that we took due to the memory of the navigation system on the speeder.
I went inside of my ship and left this planet behind knowing that I would be in a much better position monetarily when I returned to my place of business.
