CH-002 The fall of a planet
(The city of Expergo is a normal metropolitan city with citizens going about their lives with their hopes and dreams of tomorrow. With the moon is shining down on the city, the markets are bustling with activity due to people buying their daily necessities while returning home, unaware of the changes coming to it.)

I felt a piercing headache and realized that I had fallen asleep on my desk as I opened my eyes. I looked at my watch and saw that it was already 2 in the night.
"I fell asleep for an hour, huh? That shitty manager sure had to give me work, right as I was about to leave "
As I looked at the empty seats and the darkness surrounding me, except for the light coming from the watchman's cabin, I thought.
"Damn, I really hate this job; if only that douchebag Malus would just give me my pay for this month."
"Let's go home; what I have already done should be enough, maybe have one of the ramen packets and then fall asleep. "
As I was leaving, I looked inside the cabin and saw that the watchman was asleep as usual; I wondered at times how the hell did he even get the job?
Stepping out of the building, I was surprised as the temperature was extremely high even though it was nighttime. I then walked to my nearby broken-down apartment, which I rented to reduce transportation costs.
"Global warming sure is affecting us badly, huh. Well, let's get going, maybe get a beer carton from the 24/7 store."
And then, as I checked into my wallet, I was struck with the overwhelming feeling known as poverty; looking at my sole 10 Argentum bill, I felt the importance of the most precious liquid of humanity, WATER.
As I reached home, I checked the mini-fridge to see if I had anything to eat with ramen and saw nothing other than a slimy wet green leaf thingy which was probably rotten.
"I really do need to get some stuff for my fridge; well, I guess it's just ramen for today."
As I put the water to boil, I went to change my clothes and wash my face; having golden color curly hair and pitch-black pupils, looking at my reflection, I thought that I was pretty good-looking and that if the need would arise, I could always go and search for a sugar mommy. While I did look a bit on the malnourished side, my height of 6'3 was more than enough to make up for it, and then my phone started ringing; surprised, I opened it to see who was calling me at this time and saw the name shown on the screen "Ugly old hag." After contemplating for a while, I answered it and instantly regretted it, hearing the extremely shrill voice coming from the speaker.
"Hey, Karna, you brat, why did you take such a long time to answer the phone, huh? Send 500 Argentums to us instantly; your younger brother just got into an accident and requires money for the bail."
As soon as I heard this, I clenched my fists to restrain my anger
'This BLOODY Bitch'
"Why aren't you answering, you ungrateful kid? I raised you in vain for 11 years."

"I don't have any money. I already sent you what I had last month; currently, I don't even have 50 Argentums in my savings account, Let alone 500."

I then got up and went for a walk under the moon, thinking about the incident.

"Auntie, when will my mom and dad's train arrive?"

Then looking at the beautiful woman accompanied by a handsome man with golden hair coming out, Karna shouted, "MOMMMYYY."

(An explosion suddenly ripped out from the bogie of the train with the heat incinerating everything in its path, causing chaos and mayhem everywhere in the surroundings leaving the boy just blanky staring in the distance. A report afterward revealed that a terrorist attack caused by an organization was a warning and that all the families affected would be provided compensation. As for the boy, his nightmare had just started with his family arguing about the distribution of the fortune left behind by his parents; he was put in an orphanage and, due to being a somewhat grown child, was never picked up, and after a while was sent back to his family as the cost of raising became too high, which resulted in him being passed around like a plague. Eventually, it was agreed that his aunt would be the one to raise and adopt him as she was taking 50% of the fortune left behind.)

As I walked through the street, I thought
"Damn, the way the world works is so weird. Nowadays, murders and rapes are no longer uncommon in the news; with us being so desensitized slowly, we don't feel anything much about the way people are getting killed; I do wish we could go back to the time when I could kill these relatives and not face any issue, instead of these hypocritical and conditional laws currently there."
Suddenly the ground started vibrating and shaking violently,
"An earthquake, What the He--"
I heard screeching noises from my left and saw the construction building framework leaning downwards.
"Shit, Runn" I shouted as I started sprinting to get away from the area of impact and then did a dive roll at the end to escape death barely.
{CRASHHHH-BOOOOOHM}
"Hooh, that was a close call." and I spoke too soon,
Then the chaos started, light bulbs on the streets started blasting, cracks were being formed on the ground, Tyres of vehicles started popping, the noises of animals and birds filled the atmosphere, rats and insects started to come out of the sewers and their habitats, It was as if an apocalypse was approaching.
Suddenly, the power went out, and the whole city was plunged into darkness, bringing about an eerie silence.
"WHAT THE HELL is going on currently in the world."
As I looked up at the sky, I saw that a crack was being formed in the air,
"Now what, aliens, give me a break!!"
As the crack was slowly being pulled apart, a huge dome-like object could be seen coming out, which then released a blinding light that seemed to cover the world, which caused me to close my eyes on instinct. I could then feel myself slowly falling into a coma.
"Welp, this is it I guess hopefully, I won't have such a life next time."
