 Jiayi pretended to play with her hands in order to look pitiful. Most celestials were very easy to fool since they were like Fengge while others were not. No matter who, the heavenly realm had to keep it's reputation as a pure and righteous place therefore they had to pity her. Hopefully, they would fall for it.
