The Hunter Becomes The Hunted

The wind tilted Alice closer to the flame.

"I don't like both" Alice said

"oh, interesting" the demon said laughing

"What would you prefer to do apart from being here?" The demon asked

"I'd prefer to be at home staring at Mary's pictures all night long, remember her, the one you killed?" Alice answered

"Well, I take lying seriously" the demon replied

"What did she lie about?" Alice asked

"You seem to be of very short memory" the demon answered

"please tell me, I have been answering your questions all night?" Alice pleaded

"Well she lied about having a crush on Gerald Love, but she actually did love the singer, and like I said, I take lying very seriously" the demon replied.

Alice started to crying, Of course, Mary would never let anyone know she had a crush on Gerald Love except Alice.

"Do you wish that your parents were not your parents?" the demon asked. The wind still held Alice up there moving her to different directions over the burning hole.

"No, I never wish that, I've never actually thought about it" Alice replied.

"Do you love John from your class?"

Naturally, Alice would say no but because she had just heard from the demon that the lie Mary had told was denying that she had a crush on Gerald Love, she screamed "Yes I love Johnson".

"Liar" The demon screamed.

The wind tilted Alice towards the fire.

"No no, it's not" Alice said

"I love him and sometimes I feel like kissing him when no one else is watching" She said calmly.

Suddenly there was a big fire from around the circle that the girls had made with candles, everyone turned to look at the fire and as the fire kept on emerging from the circle someone came out of it, it was a very tall woman dressed like a warrior with a sword in her hands but her armor was nothing like Alice and Esther had seen before, they were red hot and on each side of it were little wings.

Suddenly the wind dropped Alice on the ground and the hole of fire closed up at once.

Esther ran to help Alice get up. "Is that...." Alice started to ask, "The Nephtila" Esther replied. "But how" Alice asked. They both stared in amazement at the amazing warrior demon, it was hard to believe that she was a demon.

Then she spoke "Baltz, proceed from the shadow?"

The shadow disappeared and then a two headed man was there instead, on his face were paw like prints, just like the ones on Mary's face when she was found dead.

"What brings you here, who summoned you Nephtila?" he asked bowing before the Nephtila

Esther spoke "While you were busy with your stupid questions, I concluded the summoning"

"You...." the demon started to say but the Nephtila interrupted him.

"Baltz, you are charged with unlawful and forced possessions, you are also charged with the murder of an unpossessed human" Alice immediately remembered George.

The Nephtila continued "You know the rules, Baltz, I'll have to take you in"

"No, Nephtila, they're humans after all, do we need to punish your kind because of them?"

"We are evil, but rules are rules" The Nephtila said and as soon as she has finished, creatures like wild dogs but with three head each came out of the center where the Nephtila was standing and started grabbed the demon from each part of his body with their deadly teeth while he screamed in pain, they disappeared into the center where the Nephtila was standing.

The girls kept on staring at the Nephtila, she was now like a hero to them. Then she turned to the girls. "Will everything we have read about happen to him?" Alice asked

"I don't know what you have read about but he will be banned from coming to earth ever again, he has been here since the 12th century anyway, he will also be thrown into the darkest part of hell and the dogs of hell will be his companions among many various torments which I will decide later" The Nephtila replied.

Alice felt a kind of joy in her heart, she remembered what she told the police man about how she'd revenge whatsoever that killed her sister, she had just done it, well not by herself but she has just brought it to pass.

"Thank you Nephtila" Alice said almost smiling

"Do well not to call me that unless officially. Now, which one of you is coming with me?"

"What? Alicia asked looking surprised "Coming with you?"

"You didn't know, did you expect me to leave my busy post in hell to come here for nothing"

Esther touched Alice softly "Yes that's the price to pay for summoning a Nephtila, but don't worry I'll go with her"

"Hell no, you never told me about any price" Alice said shaking her head at Esther with her eyes widened.

"Well you didn't let me finish and you were so happy about it, I didn't want to burst your bubbles" Esther shouted at Alice, she burst out crying too.

"Girls can you make that quicker, I don't have all day?"

"No way, I'm going with her" Alice said pushing her aside.

Esther held Alice's hands, her hands were shaking "don't try to argue with me, I already made up mind"
