Chapter 2

Fortunately, her phone was an arm stretch away from her so she stretched her arm and took it. She quickly dialled the ambulance and after they had assured her that they were on their way she called her dad but it didn't go through.

She was in pain but she was trying her best to stay strong. She prayed to God to help them because they were helpless. Fifteen minutes later the medics could be heard a distance away. She was losing consciousness but she was trying her best to stay conscious. At least until she was sure everything was going to be okay.

The medics eventually arrived. They first got her out of the car and she was placed on a stretch. While they were treating her she saw them bring her mother's numb body out. Her face was pierced with glasses not less than eight. Her dress was soaked in blood her face was unrecognizable. That was when she looked down there was a large piece of glass pierced into her chest. If correct it was pierced into her heart. The medics were screaming something but she couldn't hear a thing the only thing she could hear was the noise of her world crumbling into dust.

She began shouting for her dad to be called. Shouting and pleading for her mum to stay with her.

Her mum was placed beside a body covered with a white cloth on the ground. No she thought her brother can't be gone also she started screaming she wanted to rush their side but couldn't feel her legs.

I am helpless and useless she thought. She began experiencing an asthma attack the nurses rushed to her side. They gave her oxygen but she was still losing consciousness. Then everything went black.

She had a dream, she was sitting on a swing and her brother and mother were waving at her. She began crying, begging them not to leave her. She bolted awake and was relieved to know it was a dream. She tried to get down but couldn't feel her legs.

That was when the events of yesterday started recurring in her head. She felt something warm running her cheeks as she vigorously shook her head. This can't be happening to thought.
