Chapter 25: Performance
Stephen could not believe what was going on that night. Their performance location did happen to be on the riverwalk. However, it was on the opposite side of where they were on it. The two had to act fast. The area had a pirate themed water taxi. It had just docked close by to their location and they made a run for it.
The Captain of the ship was in his late 30's and dressed like a pirate himself.
"Yo ho, yo ho, do you wish to join me for a trip amongst the river?" asked the Captain. "Come and become one of us me hearties."
There was a hiring sign upon the entrance of the long but narrow yellow ship.
"Oh, we're just tourists in a way," said Stephen. "We are looking to get back up to the other side of the riverwalk. To your local theater over there."
"Ah, I understand," said The Captain. "It was worth a try anyways. You can swipe your credit card up by my wheel here and I'll take yee over there."
