I shook my head, showing that I refused to believe any of the nonsense Lala was saying. It just couldn't be. After all those years, she knew that I was in the orphanage? I refused to believe that.

"You're joking, right? You must be thinking of some other abandoned place." I said, with a laugh

"I'm serious, Hyun-Gi." She said in a serious tone, "This is the place that little girl has lived in all her life. I knew that because I would listen to her sobs and screams everyday."

"So what the hell is that supposed to mean? Was that girl me?"

"Hyun-Gi..."

"All this time. All these stupid long years. You knew that I was in there, and you couldn't even save me?"

"There was nothing I could do. I-I didn't know--"
