Kang Yun

"what is going on between them?" I think as I walk out of the room too.

I found them talking at a distance, and this time there was no sign of a fight but they were discussing peacefully on something. I walk up to them but they stop their discussion immediately they see me and stand apart.

"what's going on?" I asked.

"Nothing your Highness, we are just finalizing the plan", Kang Yun said as he looked away to avoid eye contact with me. He is lying again.

** Seo Hwa and Kang Yun Discussion**

He walked up to me where I was standing, I thought he wanted to pick another fight until he spoke.

"are you sure you will follow us to the mission", he asked.

"Yes, and why can't I come, they are my people", I replied to him.

"if he knew your condition, he wouldn't agree to this, I hope you are making the right decision", he spoke up finally.

"what condition", I asked him.

"I know you are carrying His Highness's child", he spilled out.

I froze at that moment, I was struggling to say something when I saw Yi San from a distance approaching us.

"Please don't let him know yet, I will tell him myself", I begged him quickly before Yi San got to us and he nodded in acceptance.

"what is going on", he asked us.

**Back To Present**

"They are still keeping this from me. I hope it's not a deadly secret", I think as I stand with them.

I stood in between them as I thought about how midnight would be, I am sure they are both having the same thought presently.

"what if we took some of Gu Won's strength portion and gave the soldier, so he can lead us to the hideout without any delay", I suddenly suggest amidst the silence.

They both look at me.

"Yes, that is a great idea, we just need to give him a little bit and we are good to go", Seo Hwa suggests.

"someone else will follow us to take him back after he did his part", Gu won added.

"Ok, we will do that too so he will be safe", I added before anything happened again this time we were outside and people were watching us as they returned from the market.

"I will tell the physician attending to him to do that now so he can be ready in the next hour, we should get ready now", Seo Hwa said and took her leave.

"I will go and get ready now Your Highness, our weapons need cleaning and your armor needs cleaning too", Kang Yun said to me.

"tell the servants to do it, you must save your energy for the mission", I suggest

"I can't leave our weapon and armor to another stranger, it's our secret, I will do it myself", he refused. He never allowed a servant to clean my weapon or his own, he always did it himself to avoid any error.

"OK, I will leave you to that, I will be standing here I need to think about some matters", I said as I looked at him. He lost his family because of me and yet he is still standing by me and fighting with me.

**Kang Yun POV**

After leaving the crown prince's side where we stood. I entered the dark room where we kept our weapon, I was cleaning it when I sat down quietly and tears dropped from my eyes.

"I missed my wife and mother and my son", I wept silently. I don't take them along to any mission or war but I always stay happy and gallant because I know they are safe at home but now it's only my son that is alive", I was lost in thought that I didn't know when Rang Min walked in.

"God, I hope my son is safe too", I speak out unknowingly.

"He is safe", I heard a familiar voice suddenly that startled me. I look up and it's Rang Min.

"why did you sneak up on me", I confront him angrily because I hate people seeing this side of me crying.

"I bring something for you", he said and brought out a small pair of gloves belonging to a child.

"it's your son's", he added and stretched his hand out to give it to me.

"how did you get it", I asked with shock as I took it from him and smelled it. It smells of a child's scent truly. I couldn't control myself again and broke down in tears.

"I sent someone to give them some food last time so he returned with this from my mother to give to you, she knew you would miss him so much", Rang Min spoke up again.

"she said he is growing well and that he is not making it hard for her without his mother. He is a good child. The cold nowadays is much so this is one of his gloves to always remember your son", he added.

"Thank you", I said as I stood up in tears.

"I won't forget this too, you are a true friend", I said in appreciation as I smelled the gloves again before putting them in my inner pocket.

"you don't have to be always strong every time, since the unfortunate event you have not spoken of it with anybody, I am sure it will be eating you inside, we are your friends you can confide in us", he added as he gave my weapon to me after cleaning it.

I nodded in acceptance and took it from him, he moved to clean His Highness's sword too. I should trust him now, he has been by my side trusting me and helping me all the time.

"We are going on a mission now, we will be back before morning", I told him as I wore my armor.

"To save the soldiers in captivity?", he asked.

"Yes, we are moving out tonight", I added as the crown prince entered the room to join us.

"It's time the wounded soldier has gained his strength now", he speaks as he moves to wear his armor.

** Yi San POV**

Seo Hwa approached me fully dressed in her armor after some minutes to tell me the soldier was ready. I walked to the dark room to get dressed when I heard all their discussion. I have been a bad master to him, he always helps me live comfortably but I jump to the conclusion that he will be okay and never talk about it with him or ask him how he is holding up.

"is it until he loses focus in a fight and gets injured or the worst dies before I take care of him too", I think sadly as I enter the room.

"I am sorry Kang Yun, I have not been a good master to you, how is your son now", I eventually broke the silence after thinking about how I should bring it up.

"No, I am okay Your Highness, you have always been a good leader to me", he replied.

"no, I am not and I am sorry for that, I will be better to you now", I said as I looked at him. His eyes are teary.

"Get our horses ready Rang Min", I said facing him.

"we will need it before getting to the main road so the soldier won't pass out again from the walk alone", I added before Kang Yun could speak and walk out.

"We have a good master", Rang Min said as he punched me in the back. I smiled back at him.

"If you do that again, your hand will fall from your shoulder ", I said jokingly as he laughed.

Now we should focus on the fight but I don't know why I have this strange feeling something bad is about to happen.
