Vamp Spider Den

Rem felt a little nauseous from entering the portal.

'I must have been teleported somewhere.'

Rem was teleported in a forest. She could see the dark grey-colored night sky. Weirdly enough, there was no moon. The trees have dark green leaves and were abnormally tall. Rem could only see endless trees without any moving living being in sight. Looking closer, Rem could see a lot of spider webs on the trees.

'This really is a spider's den...'

'Hmm... Whatever. I'm not using any anyways.' Rem shrugged.

She suddenly sensed something attacks her from behind. Rem dodged the attack and saw a huge black spider with glowing red eyes and a pair of huge, white fangs. She equipped her weapon and slashed the spider. The spider blocked her attack with one of its legs and climbed on a tree.

'THAT GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!!' Sighing, Rem thought carefully.

'How did that spider get that close to me? Shouldn't I be able to sense it way earlier? I didn't sense any moving living being except for the spider...s?' Rem sensed four spiders that surrounded her.

'Oh shoot!' Rem quickly dodged their attacks and used shadow chains on the spiders. Rem inspected one of the spider's status.

'Dang! They are stronger than I thought. The monsters inside the portal are no joke... What is a Vamp Spider??? Vamp as in vampire? 002, do you know what a Vamp Spider is?'

{Of course. Vamp Spiders are creatures who attack living beings at night and suck their blood. They use that blood to get stronger. Usually, they would suck their prey's blood dry. They are very stealthy and once a Vamp Spider bites you, you will become paralyzed and poisoned. Never lower your guard at any cost.}

'I'm always on guard. Anyways, as long as they don't bite me, I'll be fine.' Rem used her blades to kill the spiders.

'I'll create some traps and destroy all the webs.' Rem got to work.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the portal...

"Hey, you over there! Call the captain! Tell him to come here as soon as possible!!!" Guard A said.

Two guards went to call the captain. A few minutes later, the captain arrived at the entrance of the portal.

"What happened?" The captain asked.

"Um... Sir. Bad news. Someone sneaked and entered the portal!" Guard B replied.

"WHAT??! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??? I CLEARLY TOLD YOU TO GUARD THE PORTAL PROPERLY!!! WAS IT THAT HARD TO DO?!!" The captain snapped.

"S-sir. Please calm down..." Guard C said.

All the guards trembled in fear as their captain yelled at them.

"YOU ARE ALL USELESS!!! YOU'RE ALL FIRED!! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SHOWING YOUR FACES TO ME! NOW GET LOST!!!" The captain activated his killing intent without knowing.

"Y-yes, of course! We'll get lost... But please stop using your killing intent on us..." Guard A bravely said.

"Ah, yes... You guys can't even do one thing right. USELESS!!! Now GET LOST!!!" The captain stopped using his killing intent.

All the guards quickly ran away from the captain. The captain went to a shop and picked up the telephone. He started to dial someone else's phone number.

'The spiders are endless!!! No matter how many I kill, there's still so many! 001, how many spiders are in this dungeon?'
