Rem was having a great time strolling around the city until she sensed a couple of people following her. She walked to an alley with barely any people around and stopped in her tracks.
"What is your reason for following me?" Rem asked.
Nobody answered and after a few seconds, five people in black clothing suddenly surrounded Rem. They used stealth and disguised themselves but these things didn't work on Rem. Rem could sense and see the truth.
'Hmm? What's their purpose?' Rem thought curiously to herself.
Rem didn't need to check their status because she could sense that these people were all around level 50s. One of the blacked-clothed men attacked Rem but Rem dodged his attack.
"Why are you targeting me?" Rem asked.
Once again, nobody answered her.
'Are they assassins? If they are, who would send them to kill me? What did I do..?' Rem felt uneasy.
"Fine. If you aren't going to answer me, I have no choice but to get rid of you." Rem used her shadow chains skill.
Rem used her wind slash and slit their heads off with her dagger. Even though they were all higher level than Rem, Rem had no trouble getting rid of them.
'I didn't want to murder humans but I guess I had to...'
