Samuel Ray

Samuel Ray walked out of his house waving to his neighbours. Getting into his car he stretched his six foot frame out behind the wheel. Moving away from his house and neighbourhood, little did he know it would be the last time he saw either of them. High in orbit above the earth, an unearthly craft was hiding among the satellites. It’s sleek black skin absorbs all light and energy that comes near it. A tall, blonde, human looking male nodded at the read out. “I think we’ve finally located the one on this planet that was giving off those energy readings.” “It’s about time!” A smaller in height and frame female replied. “I want all bio-scanners on this one this time. No mistakes like last time.” The female hissed. “I’ll remove more than an ear this time!” The male, a hand to the stub like projection from the side of his head, nodded. “All scans now active, directed at the subject.” The male said as clearly as he could. The female stood, walking up behind the male. “Hmmm, this one has more markers than any we’ve seen before. I’m so glad I suggested we come to this primitive place.” The male hid his face as he rolled his eyes. Her idea? Slightly shaking his head he wondered how she’d go on without him. Most of her ideas were actually his. A slashing to his back let him know he’d not heard the last thing she’d said. “You worthless piece of scum! I told you to get him!” The female growled. “I will mistress as soon as he stops moving! We don’t want a repeat of last time like on penal-one.” The male said as he wrenched at the pain across his back.

The Prodigy Gamer

In the ordinary quietude of a typical night, after conquering the final level of "Crossover Worlds," Alex Mercer faced an unexpected choice on his screen – a prompt from the game system. Without much thought, curiosity fueled his decision, and he clicked "yes." In an instant, the familiar screen transformed into an immersive display, so lifelike that Alex questioned how the computer could get so physically close. The Worlds System, as it introduced itself, left him in awe. The first mission: Complete “Crossover Worlds." The reward – a proclamation that sent shivers down his spine – "you will have all the power of the main character you are using." The stakes were high, signified by the ominous consequence – "Death penalty." The game he had just completed three times, an accomplishment unparalleled in the gaming community, was deemed nearly impossible. His victory, broadcasted to the world through a livestream, left his audience astounded. As he closed the livestream, little did they know that the extraordinary events within the game were not confined to the digital realm. "The Prodigy Gamer" begins as Alex Mercer, armed with the powers of the main character from "Crossover Worlds," steps into a world where the consequences are real, and death is not just a part of the game. As he navigates the uncharted territories of the Worlds System, the line between virtual achievement and tangible consequence blurs, leaving an indelible mark not only on the gaming community but on the very fabric of his reality.
