CHAPTER 4 : TRUTH

Our story continues as we see Moher walking down the hall alongside his father neither him nor his father has said a word since his father called for him. The quietness only increases the uneasiness placed on Moher. He thinks to himself "What could be the reason that father has called me and this weird quietness... something feels kinda off. I just hope its nothing serious" as he thinks this a sweat passes down his cheeks

Moher's father Arthur walking with a serious face closes his eyes and gets a flashback of the meeting he had with his wife

We go back a little in time when Arthur had came into Rosaline room right after Moher left "So what could you need, Arthur dear" Rosaline said

As Arthur comes out of the shadows of the corner of the room he replied saying "Sorry I hope I am not disturbing you " to which Rosaline replies with "Don't worry, nothing you do can bother me anymore" to which Arthur chuckle a little bit as he comes closer to the her and just as he reached Infront of her his face becomes serious. Upon seeing that Rosaline asks " What's wro..." As she was about to say that she gets cut by Arthur who says "I am about to die " Hearing this Rosaline makes a shocked yet confused face but before she could say anything Arthur continues "I can't say for sure on how much time i have but i know for sure that i will die in the upcoming years " after saying this Arthur looks at Rosaline worried , confused and shocked face and just says "I know it is sudden and i also understand if you have a lot of questions but hear me out first" Rosaline upon hearing that steels herself to prepare for what Arthur is about to say. Arthur after seeing her ready herself continues "Do you know about unique skills?" To which Rosaline replies with a confused face "As i thought" Arthur sighs "Unique skills are the only skills which break the traditional ranking of skills. Sometimes these skills are as powerful as a SSS rank skill while other times it might only matchthe power of C rank " Rosaline continue to listen to Arthur in awe as she has never heard of such skills while Arthur just continues what he was saying" It isn't a surprise if you haven't heard of them since even obtaining one might take one's whole life and on top of that one unique skill can only be in the hand of one person at one time...." Arthur takes a break before continuing "Moreever it is even rarer to be born with one like me " upon hearing this Rosaline becomes even more shocked to the point she might have even forgot the reason the talk started but before she could say anything Arthur says " However no matter how powerful you may be to be born with one has its own bad effects. " As Arthur says this he looks out the window seeing Moher just reaching the training grounds" The same was with my skill POINTS INCREASE although the name may be lame but the effects were too good to be true " Arthur takes in a deap breath before saying" As the name suggest all my stats would increase everyday equal to the amount of level i am at such that if i am at level 10 all my stats also increase by 10 but such skill came with the downside of age decrease to only one third of a normal lifespan and as you know i already am 35 years old so I can't say how long i may even live for "

Rosaline had sat down to absorb what she had just learnt shocked to hear what she just learnt she remained quiet, thinking deeply after a while she finally looks at Arthur and asks "Have you told anyone else about this?" To which Arthur nods to say no. Roseline again goes deep into thought before asking"what about our children are you gonna tell them as well?"

Hearing that Arthur sat besides Roseline and says "Thats why i came to you i wanted to ask your opinion on this matter" hearing that Roseline became quiet unsure of what to say "Telling the truth and not telling it both have their own bad effects "

Finally after Roseline collects her thoughts she says that "As you said both have adverse effects but instead of worrying about that i think you should worry on hwo to prepare them for this loss as you have once said 'Death is inevitable for everything that is born it has to die one day' so it will be better to prepare them mentally instead of doing anything else "

After hearing those word Arthur also fell silent for some time until finally saying" I see thank you. This has cleared my heart to some extent "

"Dont worry "Rosaline replied"No matter what until your last breath i will be with you, bearing your problems along " Rosaline says this while touching Arthur face (cheeks)

"Thank you"Arthur replies gently while holding Roseline hand

We go back to the present to find out that Moher had entered a room along him. We see that Arthur is standing Infront of Moher staring him down causing moher to be nervous as a sweat flows down his cheek "Well shit" Moher thinks to himself
