New start

I'm at a new school I know no one and I am incredibly nervous. I couldn't even eat anything for breakfast. Math was my first class so the day didn't start off too hard, on my way to my locker it felt like everyone was staring I ignored the feeling and kept walking. I opened my locker and grabbed stuff for my next class, I was used to people not liking me or talking to me so I was surprised when a random girl came up to me.

"Hey! I'm Hannah! You're new here right?"

"Uh, y-yeah I'm new, I'm Charlotte." In my head I was thinking, "STUPID, STUPID! WHY DID I HAVE TO STUTTER!"

"Nice to see a new face around here, this town is so small I know pretty much everyone."

"..."

"Oh you're shy, I'm sorry if I came at you by surprise."

"No, it's fine I'm just used to people not talking to me."

"Well I'm guessing everyone here wants to talk to you, sinceyou walked through those doors everyone had been talking about how pretty you are, some girls are already getting jealous!"

"M-me pretty? I never remember anyone calling me that." I thought in my head confused about everything.

"I have never heard that before."

"Well you should have! I would just watch out for Jonah if I were you. He is one of the school's heart breakers. He would date a girl to get her hopes up and break up with them the next day!"

"I'll make sure I don't even talk to him after hearing that!"

Just as I said that I saw some guy walking towards me.

"That's him! If he tries asking you out say NO!" Hannah said whisper-yelling.

"ok" I was preparing myself to say simply say no but by some miracle the bell rang, it was time for history.

"Wow saved by the bell." Hannah said gladly. I glanced over at Jonah to see him writing a note.

"What's your next class?" Hannah said happily.

"History- Mr. Matthews."

"Me too! Let's walk over together." I took one last glance over and Jonah was walking in the same direction as us. I was hoping his class was just the one next to mine, but it wasn't, he had the same class as me History- Mr. Matthews."
