5 His name

Few minutes ago when the program was ongoing, I stared at him when I sat among the audience while he was gave his speech and minutes later, I  was in his arms. I was not able to take my eyes off of him at that moment and I didn't.  He looked more handsome in closer, those dark eyes which had  a surprised  look and his red lips with a slight smile on his face told me something but I didn't know what was he trying to tell me until he asked me for the second time.

"Are you alright?" he asked me when I was still in his arms.

"I...aaahh..m.....I'm fine," I replied and stared at him shamelessly without blinking my eyes.

"That's good,"  he replied with a warm  smile which made me blush.

He was about to say something to me  and was interrupted by my stupid cousin who stood a little away from us, I wanted to kick him and I should've but I didn't.

"Ahem, Ahem!!! you know what, you guys can talk normally,  that angle is kinda weird," Justin faked a cough with a mischievous smile on his face.

Then it struck me that I was still in his arms, I took a  few steps back instantly and thanked him. It was really an awkward moment and my cousin made it look more awkward by using his stupid mouth.

The guy whose name I didn't know at that time, smiled at me again and I was speechless and looked down as I didn't want him to know that I was blushing.

'If he smiles at me again, I might die  out of happiness' Such were my thoughts.

Thanks to Justin this time as he interrupted again and said to him.

"Austin Ames, I'm so proud of you my man. You nailed on the dias," he said while hugging him  tight.

" I'd thankyou if you take your hands off me and put them where they belong," the guy named Austin, replied with a devilish smile.

'So his name is Austin Ames,' I thought.

Justin immediately backed off his hands after hearing what Austin had told him. "You are a heartless person, Austin. I was complimenting you."

As he slid his hands on either sides of his pockets, Austin  asked my cousin, "Is it? It looked more like  you were trying to kill me, Justin. You can ask Jessica if you want."

I was busy as I admired the way Austin stood in all glory, his lips had perfect curves, his hair which was shining under the light, his Adam's apple went into convulsions every time he spoke something and his voice was whisky smooth.

"Jessica?"  Austin pronounced my name turning his head my side.

To which I replied with a hmmm, mindlessly.

Seconds later my eyes widened and I looked at him.

'How does he know my name? does he know me?'

I was curious and wanted to ask him how did he knew my name when we have not met before. After few seconds, I replied,

"Yes?!" I wasn't sure what he had asked me but I saw him looking at me with his black eyes.

"Jessica!!!"

Someone called me and I turned back, it was Cindy, my class representative. She came and stood beside Justin, who was facing towards  me.

She spoke in a soft tone, "Rachel is waiting for you in the canteen and told you to come immediately. She looks very happy and excited, go quickly."

"Hehe!! I will," I replied and gave her a half-smile.

"Okay then, time to disperse, I should  get back and   clear the mess; and also Austin  help me moving those boxes which are in the staff room," Justin said and Austin who seemed to be my cousin's friend, agreed to him with a  nod.

"I'll help you holding those charts give them to me," Cindy said to Justin.

"Thankyou so much Cindy," justin replied with a great full smile

I looked at Austin who  stood with his crossed arms against his chest.

'Damn it !!! Why did things turn out in this way, don't know  when will  I be able to talk to him, I wanted to know more about him.' I asked to myself internally.

"We can continue our conversation next time we meet," Austin said while he looked at me, it as if he read my mind that I wanted to talk to him. I nodded but didn't utter a word.

I headed towards the door with a half heart but I turned again when I heard my name rolled on Austin's tongue so beautifully.

"Be careful while walking, I might not be there next time to stop you from falling," he said and grinned at me.

Things that took place, popped up into my mind. I felt my cheeks burn in flames at that moment.

"yye...ahh yeahh, I'll be careful and I'll leave now ...byee!!"  I replied and didn't dare look at him again. I walked briskly towards the door  to hide my face which had turned red.

That was the first time  Jessica  spoke  to Austin. Even though she couldn't talk to him more, she was happy that she spoke to him.
