The One Beyond : chapter 8

"Where are we going." Edith curiously asked.

"To the market, I need a weapon." Umy's answer surprised Edith who never thought a little girl would say.

"Are you serious, you're too young to own a weapon, why would you even need one in the first place?" Edith asked very stupefied.

"Edith haven't you heard? I am the blood of the Red Tyrant's my bloodline is to fight, That is why I need a weapon." casually replied Umy.

Her sweet voice compared to her plan was literally contradictory to each other.

"Did the Mistress give you permission?" Edith could not help but worriedly asked.

Umy turned her head sideways as to not answer but also hide her guilted face.

"I will get in trouble if they find out I am with you!" Edith reminded her circumstances.

"Don't You think I know that?"

"Then Why!" Edith poked.

"Why is a servant asking her master so many questions, and beside. You aren't going to get in trouble, my action will not involve you since I literally am there most favored daughter." Umy needed to clarify her favored position among her family member.

Edith was confused and could not refute her master and was more worried of what maids would do to her if she was caught.

Then again her thought went back to her master's which weren't a lie, but spoken in truth.

Edith tried her best to calm herself down while she walked to the market, which her master directed her to as if she knew every corner and road.

Before she could walk any farther to the middle of the market, Edith and Umy was stopped by three tall dirty bagger like young boys.

"Well,

"Well,

"Well.

The Boy's said from left to right.

The first boy had a nasty scar on the left temple of his head, which made his shaved head stand out. his eye's were brown, similar to the other two boy's along with his black sprouting hair.

What was strange was that the boy's all had the same height along with having similar faces which meant they were triplets instead of the rare twins.

The middle boy had a shot cut hair but his forehead had a very nasty scar running down his broken right eye's. Still he had a similar denture problem of missing teeth's to the other two boy's. and finally the right boy looked fine in all aspect except his right leg which showed that it was having a nasty infection after some kind of animal had taken a bite out of it.

"Oh, my, God, what the hell happened to them?" Thought Umy who only felt pity for the boy's.

She wasn't an idiot and suspected that the three boys needed the money she was given.

"A well dressed bitch." pointed out the left boy. His Face in a mocking manner.

"And a Dirty Dark skinned slave." The middle boy showed his disgust toward Edith who was on guard.

"Spit." The right boy showed complete hatred toward both edith and Umy who both looked like helpless and very easily extorted girls.

Edith wasn't a push over and instead verbally retaliated.

"Who the hell are you three and how dare you insult my master."

The three boy's looked down at Edith before laughing loudly, which in a way insulted Edith emotionally.

Her face immediately looked very outraged, which in turn made the three boys laugh even harder.

Edith put her master down before trying to run at the three annoying boy's.

Unfortunately she was being stopped by the back of her shirt.

"What?" she was confused until she saw to her amazement that her master sunk her left finger into a wooden structure as to avoid herself from being dragged along when she tried to prevent Edith from running off.

"You idiot, calm yourself down and remember the position your in." Umy reminded in a calm manner.

When Edith finally had the time to realize the position she was in, Umy pulled her literal iron grip out of the wood before she went to grab something under her robe.

"Here is what your looking for, I'm busy today, use the money to get someone to heal your brothers terrible wound." Said Umy.

She threw two silver let and 34 copper let, Which was a months worth of salary for the everage commoner.

The three kids were paused at what had just happened, the little girl didn't just stop a bigger person but literally sank her weak looking finger into something they themself could never hope to achieve.

The coins she threw sent the middle boy falling back as if a grown man was the one who threw it at them.

"wah! the, hell!" exclaimed edith who's expectation was overwhelmed.

"She's too strong for someone so small." Thought Edith.

"Lets go Edith, I can't waste my time on this, maybe another day. But not today, I need to be home early." Said Umy who easily jumped onto Edith's back shoulder.

"We need to go that way." she pointed to an area less active.

Edith was now convince she needed to got displease her master, or else she would be punished.

Soon the two girls entered the loud but very active market for blacksmiths' who put their whole life to forging from utensils to literal weapons.

"Hey! What are two little girls like you doing here?!" Someone angrily shouted.

Edith turned around to see a short but balky man in a tight leather officer outfit.

The mad had a short hair cut with a very blocky face.

There were warts at the bottom of his tanned chin.

What made Edith sward was the sword in scabbard on the mans left waste.

Seeing that the girl didn't speak from fear, the man walked closer before asking in a more demanding but less loud tone.

The man wasn't trying to scare the girl, but from his face to his very irritated tone, he looked like the most rudest man in town.

Umy looked down to her scared servant before looking up at the man displeased.

"I came to buy a weapon!" She answered.

Her eye's looked more redder then it already was.

"Young Lady Red." The Officer recognized a noble young lady and not just that, but the red tyrants embalm on her dress.

"It's dangerous, I need you to turn away from there, theirs too many dangers." The man tried to explain.

His heart beating harder as the little girl was cute and also very famous in town.

"I know." Answered the girl.

"Then why are you here?" the man needed to ask.

"I came to get my own personal made weapon." She answered with a calm smile while rubbing the rough and hard hair of Edith who was shaking in fear.

"
