6 World: Demon Slayer - The Dancing Sun

Silently I walked up the mountain, up to the home of the protagonist of the series called Demon Slayer.

I didn't however expect that I would end up before canon time, I'm aware I earlier today asked to myself if I'm on the wrong time, but that was simply me grasping at straws at a time.

Now the question is,…what is it I should do in this situation, I already knew what kind of deal I was going to make…but should I do anything about them being attack by Muzan a few years later.

…I know for a fact I wanted to prevent that, but that would mean the anti-demon poison from demon nezuko's blood wouldn't come into fruition, or at least I think the poison is from her blood, I didn't read the manga and was more and less spoiled in a lot of the later events, knew everything up to the end of the sword smith village and that's about it.

Though I did have information on the upper moon 6 as well as Muzan…I could trade information with the demon corps, and as for when Muzan will arrive….

I remember a watcher simping on nezuko at one point, which followed with the comment section stating that she was 12 before the time skip, and I remember tonjiro being a year older, so Muzan attacked sometime around when protagonist was 13.

And somewhere around the winter season considering the snow,…so all I would have to do is figure out how old is tanjiro here and warn them?

I can't really force them out, the best I could do is to pretend to be a supernatural figure that can see into the future.

I never really denied anyone that I was some sort of out of this world being, I just let them make up whatever they like, so I certainly had the reputation for it.

Because honestly he wasn't sure how else to help them, if they insist on staying at their ancestral ground…there's not really anything I can do other than force them which isn't something I'm willing to do.

Even if I were to mobilize the entire demon corps to fight against Muzan, they will all die, especially with no demon mark, the entire reason why the characters needed every advantage they could get against him.

The only person who could've outright killed Muzan effortlessly is currently a 300 year old corpse, the literal most powerful character in all of Demon Slayer with NONE coming even remotely close.

It was by this point, I was coming close to a building, I could see a boy no younger than 9 currently cutting wood with an axe.

It seemed he was struggling though, still I made sure to make my footsteps loud enough for him to hear me coming, no need to scare him off.

Indeed the child heard me coming and turned to me, his eyes widening, " hello sir, what brings you all the way up here?" Said a tired boy with a smile.

I replied in a casual tone, "greetings child, it has come to my attention by Urakata that among your family is a sickly man, I have been called several titles, but you can refer to me as the Wanderer,".

I figured if the man in town referred to me by that than others in the same place also refer to me as that.

As expected, to who I suspect is tanjiro, his eyes widened in surprise, which swiftly changed to excitement and hope.

The boy quickly dropped the axe and quickly went back into his home, it was snowing so it made sense that nobody was out this late afternoon.

Though I felt some eyes looking at me from the door, though they tried to be discrete, to children they may seem they are being quite, but typically when people take a peak to see something around a corner they end up exposing their head.

I just stood there, my head covered in the hood, my body wrapped by a cloak, and with both hands clutching the stick.

It was barely a minute when another figure, bigger than the boy, came out, a woman, she gasped when she saw me, I didn't move forward, instead introduced myself with a bow, "good evening, I was told by a man back in the town, that there is a sickly man that is on the verge of death…I have come to offer a deal in exchange for taking the illness away,".

Her hands trembled, as she clutched tanjiro close to her, "please, Wanderer, please come in," as she gestured to come inside.

Accepting the invitation, I came inside, making note that the mother was carrying a baby on her, I saw someone I suspect is nezuko…there were three others, but I didn't recall their names.

They did look confused at me, slightly wary, which made sense considering how creepy I must look covering up myself and keeping my face under the shadow of the hood.

They led me to another room after taking off my shoes, and even all the way back here I can hear a loud series of coughs.

In the middle of the room, I see what looked to be an older tanjiro with sunken cheeks, he looked tired, taking in deep breaths, he also had a towel on his forehead, implying a fever.

He looked at me and smile, "hello,…I didn't expect to be visited by someone like you," his presence, despite being very sickly, was very warm, like the Sun which he found fitting.

I have a small chuckle, "I believe I can say the same, the man Uarakata seemed very insistent that I come to help you," I explained.

He sighed, "truly, he worries too much," closing his eyes, though I can see he was touched by that.

I nodded, I gave him a small smile and replied, "seeing your condition, I can hardly say it isn't warranted, but…off to buisiness," I gently tapped the floor, and in between us a glowing golden contract emerged out of nothing, causing several gasps to come from behind me.

I can also see wonder in the man's eyes as he laid on the futon, though to get some information I asked, "tell me, how old is your son? Has he memorized your dance to the Sun at this time,".

Tanjuro blinked, and tilted his head at me, and confirmed, "my son is nine, and assuming I had not long for this world, I have taught him as best I could my family's Kagura, I am surprised that you know of it,".

I chuckled at that, and went the mysterious route, "I have seen many worlds, both filled with dread and death and ones filled with hope and wonder, in this world I come upon, that dance that your family performs is one of the most captivating sights I have seen in all my years, for it,…I am willing to give you a healthier body, removing your sickness, and giving you an extra 20 years of lifespan in exchange for your muscle memory, capabilities, and experience of your Hinokami Kagura and anything else directed related to it,".

It was silent in the room, behind me I can sense the shock, which was understandable with what I offered to them.

The healthier body was easy, considering I traded it with a bodybuilder that had an incurable disease, he agreed to give 50% of his strength and health, he claimed it would be a nice challenge to get back his strength.

Tanjuro looked hesitant, "…I'm…not sure,…every year I will have to do the dance in every new year, to chase away misfortune and sickness, I don't know if I-"

"I'll do it!".

I turned back and saw tanjiro stepped forth with a determined look, "father! Take the deal, get better and live longer, I will take your place in doing the ritual, it doesn't matter if I can't, because I WILL!,"

It honestly looked adorable how determined he sounded and tried to make himself look.

Tanjuro thought the same as he chuckled, "…well, if there is nothing holding me back…Wanderer,…I accept your deal,".

Golden light filled the room, the contract flowed ever so brightly, silver light came from Tanjuro got sucked into the contract, while I open my palm, where bronze light came from it form the other contracts in my pocket dimension, shot itself to Tanjuro.

When the light show died down, you can immediately see Tanjuro was healthier due to his complexion, how less tired he become, and the fact his sunken cheeks were no where ti he seen.

Feeling a difference, a moment later, Tanjuro sat up, which immediately set off a emotional response to the rest of his family as they clutches him tight and cried.

I just stood there, politely waiting for them, though I myself also felt like crying, it was like watching a anime episode that was made to cheer you up.

Eventually, after all the crying and hugging, they thanked me profusely, inviting me to stay for dinner, which I agreed to.

It was nice, the the atmosphere was filled with joy, the rice cakes were warm and delicious, it was a nice memory for me to later look back on.

As it approached midnight, as I was prepared to leave, "…before I leave…you must know…in four years time, in the night of winter and before the new years, a demon…stronger like no other will come, I beseech you to leave and look for a safer spot to live,".

It came to mind that tanjiro in the very first episode left the mountain to sell the charcoal in offer to get his siblings something nice for new years, which was how I managed to track down the date.

Thinking it, both Kie and Tanjuro frown, kie in fear and worry, while Tanjuro looking both troubled and weary, "this is our ancestral home, for several generation, we can't just drop and leave it,".

I sighed, "I was afraid you would say that...i can't force you to leave, or better yet, I don't want to forcibly remove you from your home, but please, bear in mind, at the very least when the time comes, at that time, find somewhere but your home to stay in for the night," considering it, they both nodded, as I sighed and left as I wished them all the luck and good will.

I recalled the fact that muzan in the manga cut, had to leave the area when he murdered the kamados because the sun was coming up, which told him that he did the murder somewhere close to early morning, so if they so happen to out of nowhere be not where they should have been, by the time he would've found them, the sun would've come up.

Hopefully the sight of their home getting trashed with muzan's trespassing will encourage them to seek out a better home.

By then he was probably gonna be in contact with the demin corps, he would be sure that ubuyashiki wouldn't allow a family muzan is after to be killed so brutally.

He can only hope
