Chapter 33: Immovable Dragon

*ROOOOOOAAAARR*

[Dragon Language has activated]

"You dare awaken me from my slumber mere mortal!! Now, you will face my wrath!!"

"So clichè..."

Philip can't help but quietly mutter at how clichè the event is. A mortal waking up a legendary dragon and then the dragon gets mad and destroys the mortal. But this time, will the mortal truly be destroyed?

A few moments later, there was a surge of light that came from the Runestone and covered the whole world with gray. It was the same thing that happened before the Breaker Dragon came out, but this time, instead of the world being colored purple, it was gray.

The giant Runestone also broke into several large chunks and millions of tiny pieces, just like last time.

Emily already knew what to do as she immediately scanned the realm.

[You have entered the Immovable Realm]

「 Immovable Realm. This realm separates the Earth from this realm, yada yada yada. Home of the Immovable Dragon. Defeat him to get out of here. 」

"Understood."

Philip didn't mind Emily's laziness as she explained the information about the Immovable Realm. It was practically the same as the Breaker Realm where the dragons can show their full power in their respective realm.

「 Immovable Dragon. The dragon that is responsible for nullifying all movements that can be applied to itself. 」

Emily properly explained the information about the Immovable Dragon as it was clearly different from the Breaker Dragon.

This made Philip ponder for a moment as how to deal with this troublesome dragon. By this time, the dragon was emerging from the ground.

It stomped its left front foot and lifted itself up as if it was emerging from underground. The foot has gigantic, almost like a mountain... No, it is a mountain! It also revealed its right front foot that is also the size of a large mountain. The mountain sized feet easily surpasses the height of 10 kilometers, taller than Mt. Everest. The feet are dark grey in color with a tinge of orange

It then flapped its wing high above the sky and extended it outwards. The wings are orange in color, almost like an amber. The wing span encompasses the whole length of Russia.

Good thing that they were in a different realm as if this dragon came out in the teal world, the whole world would see this gigantic dragon.

A few moments later, it has revealed its greyish and amber colored tail with thousands of thorns attached to the upper half of the tail up to its tip. The tip of the tail had two wedge like plates attached to the sides that looked like axes and is width is almost 2 kilometers.

Then finally, it revealed its head as it lifted it slowly above its body. The dragon had a slightly long neck and its head is like a block of metal with its teeth showing to the sides. The top of its head had a look of being extremely hard as it glistened when it moved. Its forehead revealed a long protrusion that resembled a saw blade or a sword, limeke a sword fish. One could tell that the dragon looked kind of lime a dinosaur with wings.

John and Erica had already fallen to ground after they saw the enormous dragon in front of them. They could do nothing but stare at the dragon with fear while also staring at Philip's brave back.

During this time, Philip was still thinking about how he could deal with the dragon as he put his right hand on his chin like a thinker.

The Immovable Dragon noticed this gesture of Philip and it became angry.

"How dare you mortal look down on to me!! Don't you know who I am?! I am the most durable dragon there is and my attacks are also nothing to scoff at!"

Philip ignored the dragon and spoke to Emily.

"Emily, do I have a mind attack ability?"

「 Yes you have. It is from the variable of Hell, 「 Beneath Hell 」. 」

"That's perfect!!"

「 But I think Fuzetzu is better at dealing mind damage. 」

Philip looked behind him at Erica. Erica was on the ground as her legs gave up from fear.

"I don't think she can get any nearer from that dragon. It's up to me show this drag a lesson."

Philip hovered upwards to come closer to the dragon's head. The dragon noticed this and it made a smug face. The dragon opened its mouth and charged an energy blast inside. Its wings glew and the mountain feet formed orange lines, resembling lava, on its body up to its neck and finally to its charging mouth.

Philip notices this and decided to counter it. He extended his 「 Pillar Wings 」 and formed two red orbs in each pillar, resulting in ten red orbs. He also charged the orbs up to gather more energy.

The Immovable Dragon was finished charging its energy beam and shot it towards the ascending mortal. A sharp bluish energy beam shot out of its mouth and arrived at Philip. Philip also shot the red energy orbs at the incoming energy beam as a from of small red energy beam. The red beam are smaller compared to the hulking blue beam.

It was time for a beam struggle.

That's what Philip, Erica, and John thought.

The red energy beams easily pierced through the center of the blue energy beam as the blue energy beam also stopped its momentum after being pierced.

The red energy beams didn't stop there. The red energy beams continued penetrating through the blue energy beam and went throught the dragon's mouth.

*BOOOM*

"RAAAAAAAAAAAARRGHHH!"

The Immovable Dragon was someone hurt by that attack as it move its head backward to relieve the pain.

"Oops."

Philip knew that he over did it with the energy beam. He then quickly flew towards the head of the dragon to take this chance as it was recovering from being exploded on the head.

As smoke and dust dissipated from the head of the dragon, the dragon saw Philip stretching his right arm on his forehead and finally touching it.

"「 Beneath Hell!!! 」"

At first, the dragon was not affected by the mind attack. But immediately after two seconds, the dragon showed signs of trembling. The ground beneath its feet started to shake that John and Erica can't even to push themselves up when they lied down. They should just fly.

Also, Philip didn't forgot to utilize his 「 Empathy 」 and he induced negative energy in a form of emotions of fear, terror, and hopdlessness along with 「 Beneath Hell 」.

Beneath Hell

"Where am I?"

The dragon asked as he was surprised that the mortal disappeared in front of him. Next thing he knew, he was in space full of bloody red aura and fog and orange fires spread everywhere.

He walked around for a while and what he found out next shocked him.

He saw a black shadow, miasma, entity, ghost, or a silhouette that he can't describe but it resembled a physique of a human with no face.

The thing looked up towards the dragon and it revealed a bloody smile that reached from its non-existent ears.

After that, only the dragon knew what happened next as he was crushed into a ball of flesh in an instant, chopped his limbs into a million pieces, twisted his body like a rag, beheading over and over again, and his soul being tortured infinitely.

"Little did everyone know, whatever was beneath hell... No one knew, they didn't lived another moment to tell anything about this place whether they accidentally or intentionally entered this place."

Immovable Realm

Moments later, the dragon's mouth suddenly started to bubble and foam and intense rain and storm can be heard from the behind of the dragon. Philip noticed this and decided to stop using his mind attacks.

After Philip removed his hand from the dragon's forehead, the dragon toppled over and crashed to the side. The dragon then shrunk into a size of a dog and Philip landes next to the Immovable Dragon.

The Immovable Realm started to break and shatter and they returned back to the original world. Philip approached the Immovable Dragon and touched it.

The dragon turned into light particles and the system spoke.

[You have obtained Immovable Dragon]

[Immovable Dragon added to Pet Companions]

Philip smiled with joy as he caught... Obtained the second dragon. Then, Emily talked to him in a troubled tone.

「 Philip. 」

Philip was surprised, Emily actually called his name without any stuttering or shyness. He immediately knew that what Emily is about to tell him is very important.

"What is it Emily?"

「 I suggest you avoid and refrain from using 「 Beneath Hell 」. 」

"Why's that?"

「 When you were using it against the dragon, I somehow detected an odd energy or anomaly from somewhere. I activated your variable of reality to see and scan what I can around you to find out the source of the strange event. 」

"Did you found anything??"

「 No, but my vision almost turned to black for some reason and I heard a word from somewhere and the black faded away. When the blackness faded away, it was also the time when you pulled your hand away from the dragon. 」

Philip frowned from Emily's revelation about 「 Beneath Hell 」. He concluded that because of 「 Beneath Hell 」, something from that place was actually affecting the real world, even Emily. But Philip was confused because he didn't feel anything during that time when he was using it.

Perhaps the Immovable Dragon saw it when he sent it to that place, he could only ask the dragon after it healed and woke up.

The broken pieces of the Runestone then fell back to the huge crater that formed when it stabbed itself to the Earth. The amouny was enough to cover it while still forming small hills and small mountains.

As Philip walked forward to find the rewards, it there's any, like the Pills from China. But then, Emily spoke with fear.

「 I-I'm scared, Philip!! 」

Philip could feel the trembling sensation in his head. He clutched his head and knelt on the ground.

"Aaaghh, Emily! Calm down!"

John and Erica approached Philip after the fight. When they saw Philip kneeling and clutching his head, Erica hurriedly ran towards Philip, leaving John behind. John caught up a few seconds later.

"Philip! Are you okay?!"

The 「 Shard of Love 」then abruptly shot out from his left hand and hovered while spinning and rotating rapidly as if it was excited.

"Agghh! Now's not the time!"

Before the shard could float towards in front of Erica, in between her and Philip, the shard looked at Philip and abruptly stopped spinning and rotating. It suddenly shot towards Philip's left hand faster than the speed of sound and went back in as if it was scared suddenly.

Seeing the strange spectacle, Erica ignored it and went to Philip. He tried to touch Philip's shoulder, but Philip turned her down.

"No! Erica! Don't touch me! It's dangerous! Aaaghh!"

Erica pulled her hand back out of instinct, she clearly felt something was amiss within Philip. Not in his body, but within his mind.

Little did Erica know, Emily was actually screaming horrifically inside Philip's head.

「 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! 」

'What was in 「 Beneath Hell 」 to make Emily like this?!'

Even the system itself was screaming inside his head.

Then, unknowingly, Philip suddenly released his overbearing golden aura. The golden aura was different this time, it had black streaks.

Erica can no longer watch anymore. She activated her ability.

"Fuzetzu! Domain!"

Black light engulfed the world, then red light, then white light, finally the world was colored dark maroon.

This ability of hers can make her surroundings become her domain, in other words, he personal space. She can seal and unseal objects within the domain and she could also cripple the minds of beings around her domain.

When she looked at Philip, she almost fainted by what she saw. Instead of seeing Philip, she saw a black figure in front of her, the figure stood there unmoving. She couldn't see Philip anywhere but she could see the worried look of John from behind her.

Erica tried to attack the black figure in front of her as she guessed that this black figure was the cause of Philip's pain.

"Fuzetzu! Seal!"

A blue sphere of light enveloped Erica and then it expanded around her up to the black figure. The blue sphere then dissipated after it touched the black figure.

"What?!"

Erica can't help but exclaim in surprise as the sealing technique that he learned didn't work on the black figure. Then, the black figure moved its head as if to look at Erica. The black figure smiled reaching the ends of the lips to its non-existent ears. The smile was bloody.

This sent shivers down Erica's spine, she almost coughed blood. Then John went in front of Erica and extended his left arm as if to protect her from the black figure.

"Stay back Erica! This entity is very dangerous! We might die here!"

John then extended his right arm towards the black figure and attacked it.

"Hex!"

A giant rotating hexagon appeared around his body and launched towards where his arm is pointing. The hexagon shot towards the figure as if it was going to slice it in half with its flat side.

"Fuzetzu x100!!"

Erica followed John's attack. The Fuzetzu Domain then shrunk and compressed unto 12 inches around of Erica. Because of this, the black figure disappeared from their vision and Philip returned back.

"Aaaaghhh! Overload!!"

Philip was still struggling against the unknown force from within him.

[9 Gates of Wrath: 4th gate opened]

[9 Gates of Serenity: 2nd gate opened]

Philip's powerwas out of control as he resisted the unknown force. Having opened the 9 Gates of Wrath and Serenity doesn't make sense. This shows how grave the situation is.

Power swirled around Philip and a large crater formed around him. His Ivory Armor was also screaming as spikes stood up on its ends from all of Philip's body only to return and to appear again.

The 「 Shard of Imagination 」, 「 Shard of Consciousness 」, and the 「 Shard of Love 」came out from his left hand and they spun and rotated extremely fast. Then they revolved rapidly around Philip's head.

「 Bullet Time 」 had also activate a few seconds ago and it hasn't deactivated yet.

'Is my choice to kill myself?'

Philip arrived to that conclusion. But suddenly, he was swept by an overbearing force that cleared his mind. The world turned dark red and everything became awfully quiet. He searched the origin of the force, he looked back and saw Erica that was about to fall down.

It was her Fuzetzu x100 that was released.

Time has slowed down not because of the Fuzetzu, but because of the overloaded 「 Bullet Time 」, along with the 4th Gate of Wrath.

He then saw a wriggling black figure a few distance away in front of him.

'What the heck is that?!'

Philip's mind was calm becaude of Erica and he could think with all the time being slowed down incredibly. The three shards revolved around his head as if it was a three pointed crown.

As Philip looked at the black figure, he knew that it was the cause of Emily's suffering. He knew that it supposed to be destroyed. He knew that this thing should suffer.

At this point, Philip is on his peak strength while all his abilities and variables are activated. Truth be told, he is now a hundred times more powerful when he fought Trail, without using a sword. There is only one thing in his mind right now, to destroy the black figure in front of him.

'You made Emily suffer... Now, it's your turn!'

The 「 Halo of Heaven 」 started to shine on Philip's head as the three shards revolved around his head.
