Lost in Imagination

Duke Jehl stared at his son, "she will be sent to the mountains, I'm sending for my alpha guards and.." Aziel cut in, "And you will be able to handle grandfather later?" Jehl looked speechless while Aziel spoke. "She might be a little troublesome, but she never harms people out of context. Even I was informed of today's event and I don't find her guilty in this matter."

Madam Leanna couldn't bear to watch him change the tide and almost shrieked, "whatever you think has nothing to do with the whole matter. Who are you to suggest that my husband is unable to make the right decision?" Aziel turned to throw her a mocking stare before looking back at his father and continuing what he was saying earlier, as if the duchess was a nobody whose opinion didn't matter at all.

"So father, I was saying that Alpha Robert went inside her living quarters after the sunset, unannounced. Given that no one but grandfather visits her, she must be startled and therefore she released her aura in a small amount."

The duchess shouted again, "how do you know it's a small amount? You weren't even there at that time. I was there and I watched my brother throw up blood." Alpha Jehl raised his hand to stop her from speaking. Her eyes were spitting fire. This annoying stepson was the next person on her hitlist. She had finally managed to instigate her husband to get rid of the jinx and now he was trying to ruin her plan.

She knew well enough that he had no sympathies for Aurelia, rather he was doing it to irritate her. What was more, even her husband paid heed to his words. She turned to glare at Aziel's mother who had a guilty expression and bowed to her apologetically.

Leanna couldn't let him live for long, especially now that her own son was growing up. She watched him fill his father in on the whole incident. In this estate no one dared to challenge her authority or words, no one but him and that burdensome jinx. Her fingers tightened around the fork she was holding and stabbed it in the meat on her plate. She wished it was Aziel or Aurelia that she was stabbing.

Aziel told his father, "when I was able to get my hands on the whole incident despite living in the farthest corner of the estate, I'm sure grandfather could do it too. We don't know who could be his spy. We can't ignore the fact that the estate still falls under grandfather's ownership and he has not made the announcement of legally making you the head of Einar legacy yet." Duke Jehl looked lost in his thoughts.

Aziel was right. Although Alpha Robert was important, they could appease him in more than one ways. But his father was a different case, there was not much he could do to appease his father except treating his cursed, good for nothing, omega granddaughter better. She was an important chess piece that could win over the queen.

Some time ago, he was riled up due to his mate-bond as well and could not think clearly but thanks to this sensible son of his, he decided to wait a little more. He had waited for so long, a little longer will not cause any harm. So he patted his son's shoulder enthusiastically, "you're truly my son, eyes clear on the goal and clear vision, huhuhu…"

Aziel bowed a little as a display of obedience but there was a glint of mischievousness in his eyes when he looked at his stepmother who was fuming with anger. The duke urged him, "Come on, have a seat and let's enjoy the meal." That troublesome niece could be dealt with later.

Nodding, Aziel Einar moved to the seat he was previously seated on. He felt his mother's glare at him but acted like he didn't see her. Soon, he'll get rid of all her worries. He knew that the duke could not be angry at the duchess since they were bound with the mate bond, but he had many other ways to alleviate his mother's stress and elevate her status.

---------------------------------------------------------

It was as Alpha Robert had predicted. The healer didn't find any major issue with his health and only suggested a few days' rest. To Robert, even a few days was an exaggeration. He was sure that one day of rest was more than enough for him to completely heal and bounce back to his feet.

The duchess had told him to have a good rest before leaving for her room. She had told him not to overexert himself and wait for the meal that she will send for him.

Right now he was lying flat on the bed, his eyes dreamy as a beautiful figure occupied his imagination. She was not a fair beauty with skin as white as milk. Instead, she had a fairly brown skin, as if lightly tanned. Her chestnut brown eyes and hair glimmered in light, giving her an ethereal look.

He rewinded the scene of her walking barefeet in the courtyard, her soft and beautiful feet planted softly on his heart, tickling him. Robert wanted to run his hand on her smooth legs and explore the sacred valley between her legs. Her curvy chest was another mouthwatering treat and he could already imagine that the amount of pleasure this seductive omega would provide him would be a never before case.

He felt his body reacting to her imaginary moans, calling his name. His hand slowly went south as he told himself that a few days was all he had to wait for. So what if he had a mate and was emotionally bound to her? He could still go around pleasuring himself, especially with a human or an omega since they had little to no aura that could affect his mate-bond.

A satisfied smirk played on his lips as he found himself lost in the imagination of upcoming days.

"It's going to be fun."
