The Hero is born

"I am choosing you Spartans!!",screamed Alexios with determination.I hope this will not bite me in the ass later,but really Spartans seemed like the only choice.Strong military and economy will help me considerably,its sad that technology reduction penalty,but i will find a way.

Alexios clicked on 'Spartan Hegemony' and book immediately started aggressively listing forward.Few seconds past and Alexious found himself starring at 'Hero of Olympic' section."Oh there is even RPG elements you say?..who knows,i might go 10 strength build like in Fallout new Vegas".Alexios said with excitement,finally something similar to him in these unknown Realm.

'Every Civilization needs a Inspiring Hero,Hero who is fearless,full of courage,and most importantly...Who is wise and full of wisdom,Please choose your skills,abilities,and mortal origin carefully and remember the whole Pantheon is counting on you!'.Its embarrassing,i noticed this moment i wasn't controlled,but my body was listing these pages,like i know whats next...oops.Gods really do work mysteriously,okay what do we have here?

Mortal Origin: choose your mortal origin, influencing your initial skills and background. Options include: 

Athenian Philosopher: Bonus to intelligence and diplomacy skills.

Spartan Warrior: Bonus to strength and combat skills.

Thessalonian Healer: Bonus to healing and support skills.

 Divine Lineage:

please select a godly parent, each offering unique abilities:

Zeus: Lightning-based powers and leadership skills.

Athena: Wisdom, strategic insight, and defensive abilities.

Artemis: Archery prowess and connection with nature.

hmmm this will be interesting,Athena was one of the twelve chief Olympian deities and the goddess associated with wisdom, craft, and warfare.Strategic insight,and defensive abilities looks very tempting,why? because Spartans have already good offensives capabilities,and adding Defensive abilities to the mix,sounds like good combination,and Strategic Insight would make Spartans even more deadly.

Zeus looks good too,Lightning-based powers and leadership skills,sounds good,Artemis do not look that interesting,the only thing that is interesting is Archery prowess.Honestly connection with nature for someone who is gonna mostly kill the dangerous nature,Archery prowess would help me considerably,but comparison to Zeus,Athena...not a good deal.Its between Zeus and Antenna,ugh i really cant decide which to pick.

After a while Alexios decided to close his eyes and let fate decide,"by Zeus if i am gonna pick Artemis i swear to Zeus!".Alexios said with his eyes closed and his finger slowly reaching to pick one of the three Greek Gods.Click and Alexios slowly open his eyes,"Athena it is although Zeus lighting powers,and leadership would boost me,or my Civilization even higher as far as my military". Alexios sighed,he felt like this was gonna be life or death situation,witch is not far from the true.

"okay with that out of the way,whats next?".Alexios begins to read things in this 'Divine System of Pantheon'.

 Skills and Abilities:

Skill Progression:

 gain experience through quests and challenges, unlocking skill points for distribution.

Skills include combat (swordsmanship, archery), magic (elemental manipulation), and utility (persuasion, lockpicking).These skills would be bestow upon you,by the Gods themselves With great power comes big Responsibility be sure to remember that!. 

"i am getting these skills? that is rude i thought i have freedom in this!".Said Frustratingly Alexios,"its outrageous it is unfair!,(sight) well the 'skill Progression' probably means that i would unlock them gradually,these skill aren't bad,but i hoped i would pick some skill on diplomacy to outweigh those weaknesses for Spartan Hegemony".Alexios said with confusion,"why of all sudden the Gods decided to give me those skill,well doesn't matter,well what is next?".

Abilities:

Athena's Wisdom and Shield Techniques: (Level 1)

Basic Attack - Shield Bash:

Strikes an enemy with the shield, momentarily stunning them and increasing the Hero's defense.(Enemies are stunned for 1 second) 

Ultimate Ability - Aegis Defense: (Level 1)

Summons a protective shield, reducing incoming damage for a duration and reflecting a portion of it back to attackers.Duration 5 minutes (cool-down: 12 hours) 

Passive Ability - Tactical Insight: (Level 1)

Sometimes anticipates and blocks a percentage of incoming attacks, showcasing Athena's strategic prowess.(when in combat,every 20 attacks are predicted) after those attacks are predicted cool down is 15 hours.

 oh...this is follow up from Character Creation,damn those abilities are looking good,wait my only attack is shield bash? really? that must be a joke.No its not nothing to see here,well fuck me.Tactical insight looks good but the only thing that stunned me is 'sometimes' i think it have something to do with the level of the Ability.,okay i can work with this.

Wait that's all? no stats,weapons,nothing...fucking nothing!?,ugh i am still amazed of how much they can piss me of.Okay i am ready my body is not moving,strange after i picked my Civilization,automatically my body begins the next step.Nothing holding the book in my hands,i was waiting,waiting,....waiting,suddenly.The book in my hand disintegrated...what?!,only dust remained,great now what?

before Alexios eyes is a screen about the size of plasma tv,the following text could be seen in beaming light of gold,but not strong enough to blind our Hero.

 "At the heart of a vast and diverse realm of Pantheon,lies Imperium Arcadia, a sprawling empire that has long stood as a beacon of power and civilization. Governed by a sophisticated bureaucracy, it is a realm characterized by the unity of its core territories and the allegiance of numerous vassal states that have sworn fealty to the imperial throne".

"Six royal princes, heirs to the imperial legacy, vie for the Throne. Each prince commands significant influence within the empire, backed by loyal houses and vassal states. The struggle for power has escalated to the brink of civil war, casting a shadow over the once-unified Imperium Arcadia".

"Roman Empire collapsed,too because of the internal struggle.Well i guess its too hard for these people to be united under one banner".Said Alexios Disgustingly,he never know why people like them find it so hard to united under one banner when,there is a threat that could wipe out all of mankind.

"You mighty Hero will be transported far on the southern continent surrounded by trees,rivers,and mountains,you will be one of the Vassals of one of the Princes who governs the region,it will be up to you whatever to break free of the chains that bind you,or will help the Princes to gain even more power its up to you".

"WHAT i will begin as vassals?,wow that's just great,agh thank Zeus i picked Spartans for their strong military,but still how will i do that?,Well that's about it,no more information".Alexios thought he would be isolated in a remote region,but he never thought that it would be this bad.

"No stats,skill that i must level up through progression,i already become a vassal,and even had to chose to support him,or not".Alexios could not in his wildest dreams think,that he will be in this situation."At least i got those abilities,no matter what,i must get so many Spartans as is physically can,this would be a thought nut to crack".

after that sentenced,below Alexios was forming white circle and started shooting its white beams throught the altar and reaching the skies,he even could not react because it was too quick.But one thing is certain this will be a run on a long track.
