Chapter 75 - Iroha Utsugi

---Night---

Abandoned building,

It was already night when Lev, Sia, and Shio killed off all the Aragami that were following them, and they were now could be seen inside an abandoned building. They were fortunate as they found an abandoned city not that far from their location, however, they were in a hide upon entering as the place was filled with Aragami, and the fact that they were already tired.

Meanwhile, Lev and the others could be seen sitting on the floor eating together. Shio completely forgot about everything else as she focused on eating the food Lev had made while Sia and Lev were having a conversation.

"How is it, Sia?" Lev asked while looking at Sia all the while looking at Sia status and knowing that just like in Douluo Dalu, she doesn't seem to get stronger upon killing off the Aragami in this place.

"It's great. By the way, Master. Can I have the other Gáe Buidhe: Yellow Rose of Mortality? I want to try using dual-wielding. Hehe. I felt like I could do it." Sia answered while asking favor at the same time. She has seen how Lev fought using two Infinities which made her thought of wanting to try it.

Lev looked at Sia with surprise before a faint smile appeared on his as he summoned out Gáe Buidhe: Yellow Rose of Mortality from his inventory. He looked at it for a while before giving it to Sia. He has actually thought about giving it to others but by now it seems like there's no need to. He then said, "Just be careful."

Following that, Lev, Sia, and Shio then just started having their night together in the room with the warm fire not that far from them as their only witness before finally taking a rest as they still have a long way to go.

---The next morning---

As the sun rises to the sky, Lev, Sia, and Shio then continue moving forward while killing all the Aragami that they encountered on the way. They stopped several times especially when the road was blocked by a group of Aragami. They have been doing that from morning until noon when they stopped to eat and rest.

---Noon---

On the top of the building,

After settling on a good place to stay, Lev, Sia, and Shio could now take their time eating without minding any threat that would befall them since they had chosen to stay on top of a building that an Aragami could not reach.

Meanwhile, Lev keeps on staring at the horizon. He never gets tired of looking at it even though what he could only see was several ruined towering buildings. Unlike the beautiful and mystical world of Douluo Dalu, this world also had its own appeal as it gave off a feeling that he had come back to old times.

"Lev, can you teach that move now?" Shio suddenly asked while looking at Lev with expectation. She has been bugging Lev about teaching her the skill 'Ren Kugi Punch' ever since she saw it. She was also curious about the other skills that Lev had but it was the skill that she was most curious about as it was powerful.

"I'll think about it when you grow up." Lev replied with a smile and denied her once more.

Hearing Lev's reply, Shio could only pout before cheering up again as she continued eating the food and talking things to Sia as the two of them completely become best buddies ever since she started teaching her things.

Lev smiled before he looked at the horizon again thinking how far they were really from the destination they were heading to as he still could not see any shadow of the place that he wanted to go, however, all he knew was that they were heading in the right direction.

Following that, Lev, Sia, and Shio then finish their lunch. They rested and took a nap for a while before continue moving again wanting to decrease the gap to their final destination. They packed their things up, and cleaned the surrounding Aragamis before leaving the place.

In some place in the wasteland,

The sky started turning dark again and the place started becoming dangerous. To avoid any trouble and problems, Lev decided to stop after arriving in an abandoned place to find a building to stay for the night. Entering the area, the two decided to climb to a higher place first to see the situation and to check if there were Aragamis around.

Meanwhile, when Lev keeps looking at the place with a telescope, he catches something he had never expected. Looking carefully in a certain direction, he could not help but knit his brows while looking at a boy who was running out of the building.

"No wonder I started getting a familiar vibe to this place. So, this is where everything started." Lev muttered. He only asked the system to transfer him to a place far from where the main story would take place but he didn't imagine that they would pass this area. He was surprised by this sudden turn of events however, it wasn't the time to get idle as he looked back towards the building the boy had just got out of.

"Sia. Shio. Follow me quickly!" Lev hurriedly said as he jumped down the building they were in before rushing forward towards a particular building not too far from them.

Upon hearing this, Sia and Shio then did not lag behind and followed him immediately as they thought something interesting must have come up after seeing him in a hurry.

Inside a building,

In some corner of the building, a red-haired girl could be seen leaning on the wall while some blood gushing out of her neck. Her life in her eyes started fading as she stared at Aragamis that surrounded her.

"I-I'm sorry, Mother. Father." The girl murmured after losing hope to live to see the Aragamis had started coming closer to her. She was about to close her eyes and prepare to get eaten when suddenly a person barged into the building and hurriedly killed all of them.

"Fortunately, I made it in time." The man, who was none other than Lev, said after killing off all the Aragamis surrounding the area before looking at the girl who was now starting to lose consciousness.

Meanwhile, the girl looked at the person who had arrived, but she could not clearly see his face before finally closing her eyes, however, Lev saw this and immediately moved and hurriedly summoned some potions from his inventory and forced her to drink them and even bought some magic beans for her eat up to get a better result.

Not long later, Shio then finally caught and entered the room just to see Lev carrying an unknown girl. Sia, on the other hand, stayed outside trying to clear off the area since she had seen several Aragamis around as they headed here.

"Lev, who's that?" Shio immediately asked after being curious about who the girl was. She keeps staring wanting to see more of her since it was the second time she had found another living other than Lev and Sia.

"Well, let's wait for her to wake up." Lev replied even though he knew who she was. She was actually supposed to die this time and yet Lev saved her and changed her fate. He then just thought of giving the main protagonist a gift when they see each other again since he pretty much steals his fate when that time happens.

Hearing Lev, Shio then just nodded and thought that it would become merrier this time seeing that another person would probably join them.

Following that, Lev, Sia, and Shio then found a building to stay in for the night, however, the danger was still there. So, Lev ordered Shio to protect the woman he had saved as he and Sia decided to clean up all the Aragami in the vicinity.

In a room inside the building,

Three people could be found naked in the large bathtub where one of them was cleaning the other one, the third person, on the other hand, was looking curiously at the person who was being cleaned. These three people were none other than Sia, Shio, and the girl that they just saved.

Sia looked at how mature the girl's body was despite being young. Her curves were already starting to show while her breasts were already big enough for his hand to grab them. This situation happens after Lev orders her to give her a bath, especially because the girl reeks of blood.

Meanwhile, as Sia was cleaning the girl, Shio was carefully looking at her while thinking about something.

"Sister Sia, how come they were also so big?" Shio suddenly asked after comparing her breasts to the girl's breasts seeing how big the difference between them was.

"That's because you're still young, Shio." Sia made a reasonable answer while looking at her fondling her cute breasts which she couldn't help but giggle a little thinking that hers was also something like that back then.

Hearing it, Shio thought for a while before nodding and thinking that hers would become big soon just like the girl and Sia had before she continued looking at them. Not long after that, they then finished up before heading to the other room to eat as Lev already prepared everything in the room.

Following that, Lev, Sia, and Shio then started eating while talking to each other, especially to what they would do now thinking that they now have another person to take care of. After they finished eating dinner, they finally decided to rest for the night seeing how quiet the place had become.

---One week later---

In a room in the building,

Lev, Sia, and Shio stayed in this place for a week already and all they did was roam to see if there were Aragamis in the vicinity while taking care of the girl they had saved.

This time, however, the girl who was lying comfortably suddenly opened her eyes while looking at her surroundings and thought about what was happening. Right after that, she then stood and looked at her hands before getting out of bed to see where she was.

After a while, the door of the room suddenly opened, Lev, Sia, and Shio entered after having finished roaming around the area however, just upon entering, they were then surprised to see that the girl was already awake.

On the other hand, the girl looked at them with tears flowing from her eyes. Seeing that there was another human beside her, she then wiped her tears away and adjusted herself before bowing toward them.

"Thank you very much for helping me." The girl said. She might not remember what really happened, but she had guessed that they might be the people who helped her since she pretty much remembered that she tried to kill herself not wanting to get eaten by the Aragamis.

"It's good that you're awake. I'm Lev, this is Sia, and Shio." Lev introduced themselves first. He was also feeling relief upon seeing her finally awake since she had been sleeping for an entire week already.

"Hello. Hi." Shio excitedly greeted her while Sia smiled with relief upon seeing that the girl was already awake. Following that, Shio then started looking at her curiously making the girl embarrassed while Sia brought down all the things on them on the table.

Bothered by Shio's staring, the girl then looked at them before also introducing herself.

"I-I'm Iroha, Iroha Utsugi." Iroha introduced herself.

"You just woke up at the right time. It's now time for lunch." Lev said and changed the mood as he knew that Iroha might have several questions to ask them.

Following that, Lev then decided to take out the things they needed which Iroha was greatly shocked after seeing him summoning them out of nowhere. She couldn't wait to ask some questions, but she decided to wait after seeing how serious he was.

It didn't take long before the food was done and the four already had a plate each ready to eat. Shio, on the other hand, did not wait any longer and was the first to grab the food while Iroha couldn't bring herself to eat after seeing how beautiful and delicious it was despite not tasting it before she suddenly turned her gaze towards Lev.

Looking at Lev's appearance, Iroha couldn't help but blush seeing how handsome he was as it was really rare to see a person like him in the wasteland.

"The food will get cold if you keep staring at me like that." Lev amusingly said while eating his food slowly. He then just took some for himself as he started eating since he also needed to replenish his energy.

Upon hearing this, Iroha woke up and immediately lowered her head down, but redness could still be seen on her cheeks. Right after that, she looked at Shio and Sia first before she started to grab some food before eating.

In the midst of eating lunch, Iroha finally got used to them as she looked at Lev to ask him something.

"L-Lev, if it is okay to ask, did you see a boy when you saved me?" Iroha suddenly asked while hoping that the boy she was talking to was alive since she really didn't have any idea about what happened after getting unconscious.

"Well, yes. I saw someone running outside in the building you're in." Lev truthfully answered as it would be a matter of time before they see each other soon and telling her now was more appropriate.

Hearing this, Iroha then suddenly stopped eating and stood up as if she was in a hurry.

"Where are you going?" Lev asked after seeing her as if she wanted to leave the place. Shio and Sia, on the other hand, were also looking at her curiously while eating.

"He was my little brother. I need to find him." Iroha answered as she was already walking toward the door as she was worried about the boy she was talking to.

"Do you know that you're unconscious for a whole week?" Lev said while calmly eating the food.

Hearing Lev, Iroha suddenly halted her action before she turned around and looked at him.

"A-A week?" Iroha asked as she couldn't believe what Lev just said as she thought that only a night had passed.

"Yeah." Lev casually replied.

This time, Iroha fell down on the floor as she looked at Sia and Shio wanting to confirm it. Seeing them agreeing made her feel that Lev was serious about telling her about being unconscious for a week.

"Don't worry too much. Your brother will be fine." Lev said knowing that her brother or adoptive brother would be fine as he was originally the protagonist of this world. There's no way he would simply die like that since he was the person the world had chosen.

Calming herself down for a while, Iroha then stood up before heading back to the table while feeling down but there was still a ray of hope in her eyes hearing that he might still be alive. With that, Lev and the others then finished their meal before heading to the rooftop.

On the rooftop,

Lev, Sia, Shio, and Iroha were looking at the sky. Though there's nothing beautiful to look at in the place, the feeling of seeing things from above was something very soothing and gave a calm feeling of being safe.

"C-Can I follow you?" Iroha suddenly asked as she thought that she had nothing to do anymore after realizing that her brother might already be at the place they wanted him to go.

Lev looked at Iroha with a smile after hearing what she just said.

"Yes, you can. I'm also heading to Fenrir. So, you might probably see your brother in that place." Lev replied before looking back to the horizon.

Upon hearing, Iroha stiffens upon hearing the word Fenrir. She remembered that place as heaven for the chosen and a restricted place for failures. She opened her mouth wanting to say something when Lev interrupted her.

"Don't worry. I'll cover you up." Lev said with a smile knowing what was running through her mind as he also felt a little sad watching it from the anime itself and so wanted to vouch for her this time so she could be with her brother.

Hearing such a thing, Iroha could not help but feel a sense of relief however, there is still a bit of hesitation that could be seen on her face. She then just looked at the horizon with her eyes started to get wet upon recalling the memories that she had in this place.

Following that, they then did not linger any longer as Lev had decided to leave since there was no longer any reason for them to stay and needed to continue their journey. Though they have become comfortable with the place, one really needs to move on so they have their lunch first before leaving.

On their way, while inside a car, Iroha witnessed and started to admire how the three fought against the Aragamis. She could not stop herself from wondering if only she was as strong as them, she could probably save her parents from dying but there was no use thinking about it now since it was a hopeless dream after all she was just an ordinary person.
