Chapter 204 - Joie's Visit

10-star hotel, 

Inside a luxurious hotel that could be found not that far from the Gourmet Casino, Minamoto, Mamako, Yasaka, Erza, Mirajane, and Melk the Second could be seen surrounding Lev while looking at him excitedly. Two weeks ago, Lev had given them a promise that whoever generated the most income out in the casino, he would give them whenever they wanted and so they were excited to see who was the hard-working one. 

"Looks like Minamoto won the bet." Lev announced with a smile while looking at Minamoto's account which had 100,000,000,000 yen on it, however, such a number wasn't that far off from the rest especially for Yasaka who had 94,000,000,000 yen on her card. Same thing for the rest who have at least 70,000,000,000 inside them which is quite very productive. 

"Fufufufu. I finally have this moment." Minamoto said before she pounced on Lev and buried his face down to his chest. She was actually very nervous, especially to Yasaka since she saw how she gambled but hearing that she won, she couldn't help but feel excited from the fact that she could now get what she wanted from Lev. 

"So lucky." Melk the Second and the rest said enviously while looking at Minamoto. Even if they don't tell anyone, there is only one thing that they want from Lev and seeing that Minamoto could now finally ask for it, they could only watch them and hope for their opportunity to once again ask for it. 

"Well. You can all go easy for now and do what you want." Lev said as he breathed out and looked at Mamako and the rest. Having such a large amount of money, he could no longer wait and convert them to True God Coins. His focus right at this moment was not to enhance his skills and abilities but to accumulate wealth so he could have the capital when he needed it. 

Following that, Yasaka and the rest, even Minamoto then got out of the room as they wanted to roam around and look for something fun. They knew Lev had something to do as they already knew about the world of Infinity after being told about it for the past two months. 

After that, Lev then took out Infinity and opened up a gate for which he entered inside with excitement. He did not even worry about the safety of his summons since he knew more than anyone else about their capabilities. He even did not worry about Coco, since he already left behind some of his clones to look after him while picking up all his abilities at the same time.

Beta Infinity World, 

Entering inside, Lev didn't waste time as he immediately called for Ugo and the rest as he wanted to see the progress and situation of not just the ingredients that he planted but also the beasts that he got. 

Throughout the conversation, Ugo and the other Djinns could not stop themselves but wondering just what of kind world Lev had chosen to go to this time as they always felt surprised by the things that he brought inside. 

With that, Ugo and the rest then just reported everything. As the time was completely different here from the outside, the breeding process was bound to be time-consuming, however, that was not the case with the sea creature that he brought to this place. 

Along the way, there is, however, an issue that was mentioned and that is, some of the creatures that Lev has brought especially carnivorous were quite giving them some problem which Zepar took action and used his power to control them. After that, Lev finally took his leave and told them to pay more attention to the creatures that he brought.

Gourmet Casino, 

Inside a private room in the Gourmet Casino, Lev could be seen eating with two people around the table. One of them is an elderly dark-skinned man with notable wrinkles, shoulder-length white hair, and a large beard. He also has elongated earlobes and rather dark eyes while wearing a white tattered robe and a white turban. 

On the other hand, the other person was suspiciously wearing a fully black outfit with a cloak and a hood which leaves only his eyes visible. The rest of his body is covered by a dress that reaches his knees, along with trousers, long boots, and gloves which are all black in color. 

"I wonder why the King visited this place himself?" Lev suddenly asked while eating the food that was served to them. He was still quite surprised by the fact that after he had gotten out of Beta Infinity World, a piece of important report immediately reached his ears from Sebas.

"That should be my question, right? Also, why can't I come to this place? Isn't this mine in the first place?" The elderly man replied while looking at Lev. This man was none other than Darnil Kahn, the King of this country and known as one of the wealthiest men in the world. He had come here after hearing the report that the place started operating suspiciously so he took a look at what was happening. 

"I'm sorry but the place has already changed owner." Lev replied with a smile since after Livebearer lost, the Gourmet Casino immediately belonged to him. Also, he had already known such a fact and was also kind of expecting to see him, not specifically him, but the person who was with him who was still eating silently. 

"Hahaha. Looks like my news channels were quite late in deciphering this information. Well, you can have the place as long as you want but you have to join our organization. How about that?" Darnil laughed and changed the topic. Given Lev's reputation and capability, his status already passed the requirements of their organization, so he wanted to offer him a proposition. 

"What organization? Neo? Heh. I don't have time to join such a silly organization." Lev replied nonchalantly while looking through the face of Darnil who had already stopped what he was doing and was staring back at him with a surprised expression. 

"Is that so? That's a shame then." Darnil put down the spoon and fork that he held and looked at Lev disappointingly. Following that, the person clad in black beside him immediately took action and appeared right before Lev's eyes with his knife already unsheathed. 

"If we cannot offer you peacefully then we don't have a choice but to force you." Darnil followed with a cruel smile on his face. Their organization was a very secret one and to think that Lev knew about it makes it difficult, so they need to force him to join them even if they need to use some means to do so. 

"That's what I'm waiting." Lev replied with a smile on his as he held the knife being pointed at him with his bare hand with his Armament Haki activated. Since his acquisition of the Gourmet Casino, he already knew that change would sooner or later arrive, and thinking about it made him think that it would be better to change it the way he wanted. 

The cloaked person, upon seeing what happened, immediately backed off and took Darnil out. He then broke the wall of the area and ran away as far as possible making Darnil feel confused about what was happening. 

"I have been waiting for some serious action for some time now. I would not slip this chance to get you away that fast." Lev said as he stood up and immediately ran outside towards the area where they were headed. He knew the identity of the cloaked man and he wanted to pick a fight with him so he could copy his skills. 

Meanwhile, some distance away from the Gourmet Casino, Darnil and the cloaked man could be seen running away with great haste as they jumped from building to building without looking back. 

"What are you doing, Joie? Is that man really as dangerous as what the information said that even you would not confront him head-on?" Darnil calmly asked as he let himself get carried by the person with the cloak. After Lev started making a name for himself, they started seeking his information and with the help of their spies, they could amass information with great confidentiality unknown to the whole world. 

"It was only for a moment but with my Tasting Scope, I could tell that the information we had for him was all inaccurate." The man with the name 'Joie' replied. He had the ability called 'Tasting Scope' which allowed him to see and measure the strength of any creature by its "Flavor" and 'Savoriness' and what he saw from Lev was something extraordinary. 

"But it was not the reason behind our retreating. Aside from Lev, there were also people around who more or less had the same flavor as him. Fighting Lev would be not a problem for me but confronting them all would pose a great danger not just for me but also to you." Joie followed before he turned his head around after sensing someone was coming. He then just took out his knife and faced the incoming Lev. 

"100 Million Slice Fillet." Joie swings his knife in a serpentine pattern which then creates a slash made out of energy and it goes toward Lev's location. Seeing Lev alone without the presence of another person, he thought of testing his capabilities with such an attack. If Lev lives, then his intuition really was right but if he dies then this is where his life ends.

Lev, who was flying in the air, saw the incoming attack which made him frown. Looking at Darnil and Joie in the distance, he thought that this might just be a trap, but such a thing would not pose any threat to him. He knew from the fact that Joie was strong, but he already fought enough strong people in this world and just him alone wouldn't scare him. 

"Nine Tail Unleashed." Lev immediately used an ability for which his appearance then immediately changed seeing him now having his long black turning to that of white with fox ears on his head as he doesn't want to underestimate the enemy and would soon cost him his life. 

"100 Million Fox Rain." Lev then used the ability from which a million ice blades also came into existence as he pushed himself to the limit to counter the incoming attack that had the power of 100 million smaller cuts. 

After waiting for some time, Joie's attack collided with Lev's counterattack which caused a destructive force that obliterated all the infrastructures near the place making both parties separate to get away from the destruction. 

"Looks like you're more powerful than I thought. Let's meet each other some other time, Chef Lev Hendrix." Joie, who was in the distance, said upon seeing his attack that could destroy a nation was blocked by Lev's attack. This surprising result made him realize that there were now four people that could block it, which proves Lev's abilities to be now closer or on par with them. With that, he and Darnil then disappeared in the area by some strange black thing. 

After some time, Lev's vision was cleared but to his disappointment, Joie and Darnil were already gone and nowhere to be seen, however, such a meeting was not that bad seeing him smiling from the fact that he already left behind his imprint on his knife. He then just looked at the area and sighed deeply before calling on Sebas and reporting something of great importance.
