Ian struggled to open his eyes. At first, he had no idea what happened to him exactly since meeting Blade who died years ago again sounded just like one of the nightmares that he used to have since he ran away from the werewolves' world and heard about his death which is why he assumed he was just dreaming this time as well.

The nightmare that he usually get were always about him killing Blade somehow.

Even though he has no idea why everybody is accusing him of that, his mind started to create some scenes that have never happened.

One of the worst nightmares was when he dreamt he stabbed Blade in the heart with a silver dagger and left him to bleed to death while he was just watching and laughing at him. He could not sleep for three days because of that nightmare.

He also got the nightmare of Blade's true blood wolf coming back to life just to kill him for cheating just like his so-called friends Jack and Kai told him in the past.
