Prologue II- Distinct Presents
Being the first divine beings are but a special gift, and speaking of gifts, they were given specific presents, to honor the birth of the first keepers of Vanta.
But not only were they given gifts for themselves, but their descendants will also be granted special gifts.
The people of Vanta can be born with magic, learn magic, be granted magic.
But only the golden bloodline have special traits and gifts when it comes to magic.
The Great god has discussed this with his Great Keepers. "What kind of present do we receive, my lord?" asked Abaddon, full of joy and excitement, and so did the great god discuss the presents given to each and every one of them.
When you're deemed to be a keeper, you are granted an insignia. One will granted a magic attribute in line with the task of your authority and will give them more potential to grow.
Aster, given the power of a star, is able to manipulate the flares of blazing suns and the light of the thousand stars. He who has such power will and shall strike his foes with them, and as for his descendants' gift, they will be born with no power but instead will be given a token in order to gain a choice of their favored power.
The token can be obtained between the ages of 5 and 7 and can be used in two conditions. The first condition, one must be in grave danger, which might threaten one's life; and the other, one has to complete a serious task for which one must conquer one's fear.
Once the token is triggered, it will be used. Once used, time will stop for the holder of the token, and then a mysterious and unknown being will appear in your presence. He who is unknown will give you choices. And one must choose within a given allotted time with limited choices.
People that were interviewed from the Aster family had similar experiences. Some say "it" appeared when they were faced with great danger; some say "he" appeared when they had achieved something amusing.
Moving on to the next: Spiegel, the pinnacle of mirror magic, is able to reflect and deflect anything and everything. The best mirror magician who has ever lived. As for his descendants, they were only given access to mirror magic and nothing else. They can only be born with mirror magic, nothing less nothing more.
But since they could only use mirror magic, at which Spiegels are most proficient at, they could modify its properties to improve or add an element to them.
As a Spiegel, you have the privilege of living in the "house of memories." You can freely choose to enter and leave the memoir. But leaving the memoir does not strip you of the title of a noble; since nobility is a special title, you will attract unwanted attention.
Leaving the memoir grants you freedom, but in exchange, danger follows you everywhere. Because unlike the Asters, the Spiegels are more "royal" and "noble", since they reside at the memoir. The memoir was created after Spiegel's death, that's why they are deemed more royal by the peopel of Vanta.
And for the last, Abaddon is given authority in the abyssal underworld, where he can gain access to abyss magic, which preserves every life he wants to. But abyssal magic can not only preserve life but also destroy anything, including the existence of life itself.
Though little Abaddon did not know abyss magic can destroy everything he cherishes. Poor little Abaddon also does not know that he will never have any descendants. Because he is the destroyer of life.
As the Great god finished explaining, everyone was delighted to hear that they have wonderful powers and will have children.
The great god smiled in an odd way and said,

As the young keepers grew, they improved day by day, strengthening their power. Not only did they grow, but they also found a person who would be a part of their family. But not Abaddon; it was as if his destiny was already written and it is unescapable.
